Just watched coombe campers restoration of Chippy. The roof rack is only attached to the rain rails on each side by clamps & bolts. Drive it back as it is and remove the roof rack before you enter the garage. Problem solved!
I'm completely on Dianne's side, moving furniture etc about in a room, can totally change it, the energy and freshens things up. Change is a powerful thing, I got it from my mum, and do it a lot - my dad and brothers hated it - my husband tolerates it. Also don't mess with a roof rack, get a garage guy to move that part of the door, only because I'm guessing chippy had to have holes drilled into him to get it, and you don't want rain or anything getting through those... So, sort the garage door, simples.
Joe!!! CAMPER VAN HACK. Just let the tires down a bit to lower it and to fit it in the garage. But remember to blow them back up when you take it on the road.

10:45 yes the LEGO Star Wars Ultimate Millennium Falcon definitely needs a display box. You can customize one to have it sit on a clear stand so it’s elevated and not sitting entirely on the bottom of the box. Since it’s heavy already I’d suggest an acrylic display box and not glass.
suggestion to fit the camper in the garage, let the tyres down to get it in. Not all the way so you don't damage the wheel but might be a solution if its just a little bit too tall for the garage! Maybe less of a faff blowing the tyres up compared to fitting the roof rack every time! :)

Agree on lighting - I have lots of the ceiling spot lights in my home - not a fan so have incorporated lots of other lighting - lamps & yes lots of lanterns inside ,& in the garden to my boyfriends horror. Yours will will look grt in your home. The very tall ones look amazing & I am so surprised that Diane does not like them - thought they would have been her thing. Those fancy ones in your hall area at the side if the new cabinet are very stylish.

I have a model of The USS Enterprise hanging from my ceiling and I had to make sure the hook screw was screwed into the ceiling joist using a deep sea fishing line in order for it to hang properly and not fall. A display case for The Falcon would probably be best & keep it from getting as dusty!

Just an idea if you do own the property you could get rid of the electric side of the garage door and turn the garage door into manual as in hand pull down garage and then it gets rid the problem.
