Just bring autocannon plus whatever else you want, autocannon destroys every bot. The real bot meta is skill, once you learn how to play against them you don't need anything but the autocannon and you can bring whatever stratagems you want

Probably because they're low skill dummies.
It's not that bots are harder, is that being able to adapt to different situations and recognize that different things have different strengths and weaknesses seems to be above their capabilities
@@kamikeserpentail3778or because bugs are wayyyy more adrenaline pumping to fight than bots. They’re way more fun. You HAVE to take a variety load out to be effective with bugs. Bots though, just take an EMS mortar and Quasar or AMR and kill everything

@@loganhartsel5513for me, bots are much more exciting than bugs, and I have over 100 hours just fighting bugs. EVERY enemy can be deadly when fighting bots, which keeps me in constant alert, anticipating and planning for the next encounter. And when a flamer hulk catches you off guard, it's way more exhilarating and dangerous than a charger, since you can just run circles around a charger and they can never hit you. Constantly killing hordes of trash bugs just gets boring eventually, though that's just my opinion

It's good to change things up once in a while and try something new instead of always bringing the same stratagem
Defender is really good. I switch between that and Diligence alot.
Rover is way better against bugs than shield. Helps you not getting overwhelmed so easily. And shield should be used against bots instead of rover.
I have fun playing with the breaker/punisher, autocannon/missile turret, jumppack/dog rover, ems strike, arc thrower,if someone on the team brings things i need i switch my loadout.
I’m torn between the Quasar cannon and the EAT. 2 of the little mentioned advantages to the EAT is that when you die, you can just drop new EATs wherever you spawn, as well as if you pepper the map with them, then any of your teammates can grab one and shoot at a heavy, allowing them to have different support weapons
Never even think to use other than light armor against bugs, just way better than medium armor unless youre doing an stationary exterminate mission. Also the purple wasnt AFKing may more than a couple of secs...you called him back when he died probably by you when you were shooting bugs in distance with your secondary weapon. Then you call a sentry behind him so he gets caught between the bugs and the sentry. He starts to move just before your sentry kills him again. Then throwing a 500 into the direction of G1, luckily he was more further away as was the titan. Also later on fortunately G1 had a shield when your sentry started shooting and hitting him as you again placed the sentry behind the player so he got caught between your sentry and bugs. Youre right, your awareness needs some attention. Especially teamplay. You do know that the games intention isnt who gets the most kills but get the missions done and being able to extract, you also led the accidentals 🙃.
HD2 has no meta
how is normal armor meta? it has never been lol. due how damage works in this game. everything above lightarmor is handicaping yourself. even if you dont get critical hit or a head hit by enemies wich ignore the armor completely. you have 1 more hit for armor rating 100 compared to 50.
Against bots?
That extra armor definitely helps.
it doesnt its been extensively tested and compared for every armor. there are too many critical hits and headshots. it only counts the head armor if you get headshot wich values are all equal. critical hits ignore armor aswell. if your lucky and dont get headshot or critical hit. light to normal is 1 hit extra and normal to heavy 2 hits. look it up if you dont believe me. its not worth the sacrifice to become a sitting duck with no speed and stamina. just for a very small chance for 2 more hits that you likely take anyway with such low speed and stamina. @@kamikeserpentail3778
quasar cannon is for stealth long distance shots or group play. expendable launchers are better for bugs. you get 3 shots rapid early and the pod can kill chargers so basicly 4 free charger kills on low cd and can stockpile them for later.
Try using that expendable bs on Helldive lmao

@@TavsWorld recoiless is like 6 rounds at over twice as fast as a quasar. expendables are 3 rounds and 1 ko on drop in 60 seconds. compared to the recoiless 480 without refill. so what you get like 7 or 8 expendable drops in the same time. which is 14-16 shots and 7 or 8 potential kills on pod drop. and can fortify areas of the map or extract.
also the expendables can be used as distractions during stealth play as it can draw attention away from you.
My general use stratagem loadout is Eagle Airstrike, Orbital Laser, Autocannon Sentry and a support of choice depending of the rest of the squad.
Primary: Eruptor/ Jar-5
Secondary: Senator
Grenade: HE/Impact
Armour: Fortified/Engineering Kit
When your corned by a spewer and then 2 stalkers start bullying you.

i'd lose the gatling gun it runs out of ammo too fast. Take a lazer rover instead, it'll do more consistent work everywhere you go. Or even an orbital laser which can change a battle.
If you've got a teammate with a GL this is a great loadout. Together you can take out everything at range and he can hog the ammo refills. hahaha
I use the grenade launcher and breaker raider style combo. Its great for Bots.
If you run the incendiary breaker, you can control crowds easy.

No one fights bots that's why.. this game was bought and marketed like Star ship troopers. Not terminator. Bots are annoying not fun or fair. Plus you can't solo them as easy as zerg bugs. You rush exp and samples with bugs. So all the comments complaining are noobs fighting bots wasting your time
@@Tuvok_Shakur bots are a waste of time. You can speed rush to level 50 and full warband with bugs. I past all my friends because they kept playing bot failure games. And getting kicked or rage quit. So yeah still a waste of time

Instead of taking 2 sentrys with you i'd recommend a shield generator pack, it will help you in almost every situation you are in.
i tended to use the rocketpods but with quasar you have an options for bile and chargers that can even one hit the later one reliably. watching your gameplay i think the laser-mg is probably better than the breaker since it only struggles with bilespewers but can easily controll crowds.

dude i didnt know you could put the redeemer on semi auto, i feel so retarded, its perfect for not wasting ammo on little bugs.
Im sorry, but pairing a breaker with a Quasar cannon just makes no sense. Why would you use a gun that eats up ammo with a support weapon that has significant downsides for infinite ammo? A Sickle would make more sense, or if you REALLY wanna pair a breaker with anything just use a Recoiless at that point since it can literally fire and reload 3 times faster than a Quaser and youre already using up ammo packs and resupplies to reaload the breaker. .
Every time I play I find sickles littered across the battlefield, I think it’s a little overrated right now. The breaker never uses enough ammo for me to worry about not being able to reload at the next objective.
I feel like it uses enough to where youre picking up ammo crates are resupplies somewhat frequent, and at that point why not use the more efficient recoiless rifle? And the sickle is great for ad clear, it struggles on medium bugs but thats why something like a rover backpack or a gas strike can come in clutch for@@seste87
This guy doesn't know the Quasar is effectively a self-reloading AT system. You will find the recoilless will let you down on more than one occasion because you don't have time to sit still and reload.
I run qbert cannon and sickle in lvl8/9 and it works well.
because its the only weapon that doesn't feel like a peashooter, devs needs to buff almost every primary weapon, they're just pure sh!t.
the Sickle is decent tho but not that good, it doesnt have stopping force or good damage, its good for medium distance i guess, but up close?? nah, it even takes a second or so to starting to shoot.

I wouldn't use this for bots personally. Try autocannon or Quasar, sickle, redeemer, stun grenade or impact, orbital laser, rail gun, eagle airstrike. That's what I run. But I'm not like a God or anything. Try out stuff and see what you like. Don't chase meta if it isn't as fun for you. I would recommend longer range primary is a necessity for bots tho.

@@tech__6607 what I have seen the most is Quazar, shield gen, eagle air strike, and open slot of your own flavor. Sickle or scorcher, impact and of course the redeemer.

Shield generator against bugs allows you to not be slowed, it's very useful on higher difficulties@@azex443
