finally someone managed to perfect -working dough- hammer time
I kept failing at 3:38 because I thought you had to start repeating the sequence practically before it ends, but this one is a slow one, there's a pause before you repeat the sequence.
hammer time is kinda boring to me but i still somehow perfected it while also talking in vc lol
meanwhile i havent perfected either of the other ones

@@malo3798 Hammer Time needs a lot of work. Concept is interesting but execution like you said is boring. Needs to move to other parts of the page which will play by different rules or something idk.
It's clear they put everything they had into the first game. I hope their kickstarter is a success so the rest of the game can live up to that quality

Finally a good spiritual successor, Melatonin left me a bit unsure about heaven rhythm inspired games but this one has so much personality!
I agree, Melatonin is good as far as rhythm games go, but after playing the demo this feels like the true successor to Rhythm Heaven
Melatonin also quite relies on visual cue unlike in Rhythm Heaven which you can almost clear the entire game blindfolded.
I’m loving this so far. I’ve played every english released RH game and yeah, this is it. Melatonin was more of like it’s own thing compared to this. This REALLY is the one

When I listen to Bits and Bops music, I feel like the cues are missing.
This just the demo, and it already has cuteness over the roof. I did the bird minigame over and over just to look again at the pictures in the bubbles.

Can we all just appreciate the fact that we now have a rhythm game about assembling an IKEA unit? They should have called the game “Hammardags!”.

The visual gags definitely live up to Rhythm Heaven, if not surpass it

Fun fact: There's a platinum/diamond crown you get get for each game. To get those, you need to basically be almost EXACT on every single prompt. There's tells (although sometimes very subtle) that show if the prompt was exact or slightly off (and yes I did edit this like 3 times looking for them lol):
Flipper Snapper: In the picture if there's some "sparks" when the seal hits the ball, you hit it exactly. If not, you hit it too early/late.
Hammer Time: Sort of the same as Flipper Snapper: When the hammer hits the nails, you'll see either a "spark bubble" or lines. The spark bubble means you hit it perfectly, the lines means you're slightly off.
Tweet & Meet: This one's really hard to tell because it happens very fast, but the lines that the yellow bird makes are your indicator: If you hit the prompt slightly off, the lines are a bit smaller and slightly transparent. (I could be wrong on this, but I couldn't really find anything else that would show perfect/not-perfect beats.)

yeah, the easiest way to tell in meet & tweet is seeing if the lines reach the wooden frame of the window or not, if it does, then you did it perfectly

The meet and tweet story + ending 🥹
Today I decided to hop on to this game, and when I got to Meet & Tweet, I ACTUALLY GOT A PERFECT ON MY FIRST TRY.
Flipper Snapper gave me the most challenge for some reason, the moment when the cat jumps out of the water threw me off for so long, despite the fact it’s not really a hard rhythm to count. Meet and Tweet was a close second though.
It's one thing to do a game based around rhythm-based mini-games like Rhythm Heaven, it's another thing entirely to incorporate the adorable yet wacky charm those games exhibit. This game totally nails that feeling! Can't wait for the full game release!
Rhythm Heaven Comparisons
Flipper Snapper: Freeze frame? This one is pretty unique
Hammer time: Working dough
Meet & Tweet: Moai Doo-Wop
Flipper Snapper is a much faster paced Freeze Frame minus the double car cue.
Hammer Time is definitely a Working Dough just without a heavier ball.
Meet and Tweet is the more unique minigame here, since you complete cues rather than repeat them.

There is! I played it recently, it’s pretty good
You know, I would be pretty happy if before this game released, “Rhythm Paradise Megamix” (“Rhythm Heaven Megamix”) got remastered for the Switch. It looks like it would go perfectly since it only really takes advantage of one screen outside of the pinball game which they could also still adapt for Switch. It would maybe even be a nice send-off to the series before this new game arrives. I don’t think we’ll be getting any more “Rhythm Paradise” games at this point. It’s starting to feel like “Megamix” might have been the last in the series. Does anyone else think that “Rhythm Paradise” might get another entry?

Scratchin' melodii reminds you how great Parrapa the Rapper was while being pretty much a sequel
