I appreciate every time Rachel talks (I appreciate everyone that talks on FilmCourage) but she is someone I would one day like to work with for sure! Great info! Thanks!
Had to check in on some Rachel K. Ofori advice etc after i had watched her being interviewed way back in my "I quit" era and as I'm developing my first real attempt at filmmaking i need some sound advice. No disappointment either, Rachel is very tuned into the social instincts that make or break a set, You're not just trying to make a great movie, You're trying to make a great set first.
Irrelevant side note fun fact, Rachel could very easily be transformed for a costume party into literally 1984 Billie Jean era Michael Jackson. ( Not so random, I've dabbled in special effects make up in some small films, We often see faces in a different way)
I agree work with people who you know and who understand the projects your working on. Plus put the time and effort into it to come up with a great story and plot. Also don't rush the dang project.
This was one of the best interviews I have seen in a long time. Great information and insight. If I am in the position one day, this is the person I would hire for my production.
Best video on this channel I’ve seen so far. My heart rate raced as everything Rachel said I thought yes.... Yes..... YES! Thank you for saying all of this.
Hi Loudin, we love our interview with Rachel. We say it is one of the most inspiring ones we did in the past 2 years. Great to see you finding value in her experiences. Here is a link to the full interview if you would like to hear more - ruclips.net/video/nnBVLqER2ig/видео.html
Great video, way more helpful than writing advice from literal who's. You should ask this question to more people more often. Her advice was great and she's clearly smart and experienced in the subject, it was helpful.
This video made my day, thank you! Lots of good insights. I felt she was talking from her real world experiences. Now, I've had a motto for many years, you ready? Goes like this, "never work with family". You could also add "or friends too close" ;)
Hi Mohammad, maybe try a comic book resource? We are not familiar with that community but we imagine there are many resources you can find that can provide you guidance.
Do you have a Facebook, Instagram or Twitter, love to follow anyone that's legitimately involved in the industry as for as Acting, Producing, Directing, Editing, etc.
Watching this from a Cinematographer point of view made me realise why certain things happened on set 😅

Does this help you when thinking about your next production?
Yes definitely! This was quite insightful. Hope to see more such producer series. Thanks 😁
Absolutely!!!!!
Definitely.
I could watch videos of her all day 😍🥰
We are getting closer to having her full interview complete.
Same here
Wow she is amazing I hope to have a Producer like her one day
Wow this woman is super credentialed, way impressive. Love to see more female creators on this channel and see a different perspective
Hi Blake, we agree that Rachel is great! You may enjoy this playlist with women in film - bit.ly/3I2vY7V
This producer is a stud, I'm totally scared of her but it would be a privilege to work on her set.
She talks like a pro producer. Beautiful too
I loooove her. I'm learning so much.
She is just perfect for me not only as a producer but also as a person....these type of people are most sorted kind off
I would love to work with her some day.
She's one of my favorite interviewees; very insightful tips and info.
The explanation between familiarity and intimacy is spot on!
This I need to know because I want to be the C.E.O. of my film company as my long term goal
I found out about some of this the hard way. Live and learn.
Another level of hiring when they know each other so well

Well, two years later… are you “in that position” yet?
Wow wow wow, she is a pro! Thank you for sharing your experience!
This lady sounds like she really knows her stuff
Amazing video

First comment, yay! Thanks for the knowledge Ms. Ofori. Many blessings
Can I get a guidance on creating protecting and licensing characters like X men or DC ?

Does she have a website or some way to contact her?
Do you have a Facebook, Instagram or Twitter, love to follow anyone that's legitimately involved in the industry as for as Acting, Producing, Directing, Editing, etc.
I want to be in her team.
🎉❤😂😢😮😅😊
Film is show business, so are you going to finally upload a video demonstrating how to be a multimillionaire filmmaker?
You're an ignoramus who's as dumb as a rock.
