Correct. The 9320A is not a recording interface. You can use the analog and digital inputs for monitoring purposes, but you cannot access them from your DAW. To record signals, you will need a separate interface. Greetings!
I have a pair of 8330s (AES connections) for my desktop, and a pair of 8030s (analog connections) for my studio. Can I use the 9320 to drive both pairs? Or can I set up both digital and analog outputs at the same time?
Hi! You can connect your 8330s to the AES/EBU output of the 9320 and control the volume using GLM (mode in 9320: GLM fixed). The analog 8030s can be connected to the analog outputs with the 9320 controlling the volume internally (mode in 9320: adjustable). Contact us under support@genelec.com if you need any further information! Greetings!
Hi, I want to use 9320 with my multichannel interface and set 9320 as my main output, but there's no clock in or out socket on 9320, so is there a quick way to sync them ? Also can I use the headphone outputs of my interface and 9320 simultaneously? Thanks in advance 🙏
Unfortunately 9320A can not be used as main output in multichannel systems. It is also not possible to use headphones and speakers simultaneously. When headphone output is selected, it will mute the speakers. If you have any further questions or anything still unclear, please send us message at support@genelec.com and we are happy to help. 😊
Very interesting product but imho was made too niche to be useful for a broader segments of users (an audio card with no input or adat expansion?), so I would love to see a slimmed down version with no audio interface to replace the current glm box + volume knob
@@genelec If that were a simple monitor controller with quality insides and the digital level display I'd buy it in a heartbeat - if adequately priced of course.
Can we please get an upate for GLM5 so that the 9310B volume knob does not jump volume due to the fixed System Startup Level? The 9310B is not an encoder so it does matter. The System Startup Level feature is useless - not to say annoying - for everyone with a 9310B. I am not going to buy a EUR 1000+ controller just to fix this issue.
@@genelec The 9320A is cool and tempting if you have enough spare small change. But it's definitely out of my budget for just a "volume knob" so I am depending on the 9310B and the GLM5 software to behave accordingly in combination with it. It shouldn't be too difficult for the sofware team to add an on/off feature to disable the "System Startup Level" feature entirely. Please don't let us small people and 9310B users suffer any longer and quickly let us disable this feature which is surely great for people who can afford the 9320A.
Excellent video!
The headphone equalizer needs to be separate for the right and left channels. All headphones are different and all ears are different.
Thanks for the suggestion, we'll discuss it for sure. Greetings!
Excelent. We need it in white :) White!
If I can’t connect my microphone to it do I have to use my regular interface for the input only and the 9320 for the output only?

Apologies for the very late reply, and thank you for the important feedback. We have reported this to our software team to investigate. 🙏
