Doodling in 3d is a pretty nifty idea. I can't remember a time when I was drawing on paper and didn't imagine who the character was I was drawing. A story would unfold to who they were but the paper couldn't keep up with my mental image and they always came out distorted because I would try to capture them moving or ran out of space at the bottom so I would try to squish them in. In 3d I could actually do what I couldn't as a kid.
It's one of my favorite ways to create! I love the blank canvas and having no idea what i'll come up with. Sometimes I try to do the opposite of what i'd naturally do just to see where it goes! It's difficult though, we all have our "styles" I suppose! :)
I love Nomad bc it really does have the ability to make 3d sculpting feel like doodling at times. I feel like Blender doesnt have that same ability. I do however use a mouse and keyboard for Blender so that could be the problem. Great video as always.
Great idea for a tutorial. I'm bipolar and have been kinda stuck for 3 weeks because of anxiety. Haven't had the strength to do 3D but this might just be the thing to get me out of this slump. Thanks!
even just moving things around and learning what does what is a good way to realize how you can best utilize nomad. No pressure, just kinda flowing! next thing you know a few hours have passed :)
@@drugfreedave i watched ur vid on how to make a face step by step and thats literally all i did lol but i got a question. Do you have an in depth tutorial on how to make eyes?

That's great 👍.... l'll have to give it a go just doodling seems the best way to try this 3D image sculpting
Nomad allows you to just have fun making things, I think that speaks to a sense of fun that is easy to get lost as we get older! 👍🏾
True thinking out loud. 😊
even when i'm creating but not recording i'm pretty sure I just talk to myself. This is why I try to just record everything! haha
I didn’t stop doodling cuz I’m making a video game and using nomad
Thats good! I don't doodle much in procreate anymore, but every now and then I make sure I can still work a pencil!! :)
🔥
