Really appreciate you providing this kit to help make things easier! I have been enjoying my 10 solenoid setup from you for well over a year now, and couldn't be happier with it!
I have 10 solonoids in my cabient and all are run thru Phil's Solonoid Life Extender boards. They've worked flawlessly without exception. The only difference in my wiring is that I come off the terminal blocks for the positive voltage instead if running the voltage thru the 12-output board. Just a personal preference. I have piece of mind knowing that the solonoids aren't drawing all that voltage.
I didn't even know virtual pinball machines existed but know that I do I'm going to go on and try and build my own virtual pin ball machine. Around how much would each of the electronics cost together.
Do you find that locating the contactors against the side of the cabinet yields better results than having them spaced along rails under the playfield as they would be in a real game?
Either way is fine, if you are looking for the most accurate representation then doing it under the playfield is the better way to go, but a lot more work :)
Innovative stuff coming out of this shop. Phil has been awesome to work with so far. Looking forward to seeing this setup in action. 😃
Thanks for showing this. Really helps us understand what you do and how it works. Love the light bar too!

I meant to say "current" or "power". Not voltage. lol

Lol Phil!? Haven’t seen you in ages! Got a ALP for Christmas looking to do some upgrading. Can I just swing over to your biz to buy stuff?
Not sure which Brian this is, but yeah you can swing by! Reach out to me via my site on the contact page.
Mind if I ask what you're mounting everything to? It almost looks like white moulding
It's just white PVC boards, nothing fancy :)
Thanks so much!!!
What gauge wire are you using?
I use 18 gauge wire for all the connections
