I mean, y’all do know that the KF version of Wally is usually slower than most. Him being KF and going up to Flash’s speed without growth wouldn’t make sense.

The writers probably did that because without the speed force and it being biological, Wally is just slower (so he couldn’t replace Barry). And if there’s no speedforce there’s no way to come back. Most recently Wally didn’t exist because of the new 52, but came back with the speed force in Rebirth. The speed force was also how Barry came back to life. No speed force in YJ.

I think they rushed season one I feel like we really wasn’t t able to get to know the original young justice team members And we still don’t know what happened it the 5 year time gap I think they should make a short series where they give us different moments In the 5 year gap so that we know what happened
I miss wally man he was my favorite character in the show(and also my favorite comic book character oat) and they nerfed him so much here too since he is the fastest man in the muliverses in comics (including marvel, DC and more)

The comics of the show kinda stated that it was because of how he recreated the accident with the chemicals that he became slower.
