i liked the idea that you came up with by using tape picking instead in the intro section it'd sound way better and less noisy .. besides great cover :D

almost every metal band does, in fact, I don't know a metal band that doesn't. I'd figure she'd know this.
i only wrote that because she's playing in standard (b) tuning with a floyd rose ..so i heard when you want to change your tuning it takes a bit more time to do ...so if she never heard anything of a7x, it was just a hint..

Nick DeMarco i use line 6 pod studio gx, reaper and amplitube. A cool sound is mainly because of guitar i believe

There is no tapping involved, idk why she decided to do that, if you watch any live performances by BFMV that section is picked not tapped

I was talking about my video, not yours. As I can see yours works well, so I don't know what's your problem. It's a different band, which probably has a different label than Trivium, so they maybe put a copyright claim and labels of some different bands don't do it. You never know. But once again, your video works, so even if someone put a copyright claim, it's blocked only in some countries, or maybe even nowhere, but a label just makes money on your video, but it's still available.

Henry Widell yes it's B standard. Indeed, it was harder, because I had to use tapping at the beginning 😃
Cool. I would've just dropped the tuning half step lower and pitch it back up after recording though rather than doing how you did but who cares :D
Henry Widell I have a Floyd Rose, so I don't really want to change the tuning: It's like too much work for me 😂 and the tapping isn't hard, so that's fine.
No i didn't actually mean that. I have also 3 floyd rose guitars and if i record a song which is in different tuning i just lower the pitch with my recording software to tuning which my guitar is at the moment and then record and after that i pitch the tuning back up what it supposed to be. :)
Henry Widell I sometimes change the tuning of the backing track, or just play it like in this cover, and to be honest I don't see a point in doing it like you do, because if I understood well, for instance you're in B, the song is in C, so you change the tuning of the song to B, record in B, and then change the tuning of the song to C again? And the guitar stays in B? If so, then that makes no sense and it's completely in a different key 😃 or after recording in B you change the pitch of your guitar track to C too? But it's probably audible, and doesn't sound naturally, and how should sounds. At least that's what happens in my case.
