This place is so awesome y’all! Go check it out! This was filmed just a few weeks ago right before it got cold and snowy! Can’t wait for the spring to get back up there! We will be doing a group meetup for the crystal clubhouse!
This is so awesome 😎
Moat Mountain is pretty awesome. Unfortunately, I haven't been there in many years. Probably one of the best pieces I've seen from there was a large cabinet sized parallel growth smokey amethyst crystal cluster. It was AMAZING!!! So, some pretty special pieces can be found there. Keep it going, I love your videos
If you had a ho-mi...
when i look up dig your own sites, you get 5 dots from around the world. This guy is at a different one every day?? that weren't on the map..
Im right down the road! when will you be going back there? I'd love to join
Wow, those are some very graphic intergrowths of quartz and feldspar! Love how the white feldspar and smoky quartz contrast and compliment one another.
Verdade
Yeah me too, I remember as digging them out I was super surprised at the awesome contrast! Thanks so much for watching!
I love how you intercut the dig footage with clips from later after you've cleaned them. That's the hardest part for me is seeing what it is when it's still dirty
Yeah it’s always cool to see them cleaned up, that reveal is so fun
Man, love how you cut to the cleaned version of your digs as you go. You are definitely getting me psyched to get out hounding again. Heading to sunstone country here in Oregon in a couple months. A gem I've never hunted for, but can't wait to give a "whaaat"
I love that he does the cut-aways too! Always awesome to see a direct before and after of the finds.
I feel pain when yr hand is injured..😚😚..
That’s so cool, I haven’t been out there in about three or four years but I’m hoping to go myself this year, the sunstone money is pretty fun! Whaaaaaaaaaaaat 🙌
@@TheCrystalCollector That would be mental to meet you brother if the timing randomly worked out. Not a club member ( yet ), but put together a dig and myself and family will be there. Stayed up after work last night binge watching your Herk digs until 3am. Lol. Love your psyche man. Love to meet Matrix too. My kids love your pup!!
I would love to dig up a sunstone sun stone? In oregon.
Awesome place to my must do list! My 4 year Marriage just ended and my son and I are heartbroken! It's time to travel and make some amazing memories with my son 🙏♥️ Give little adorable Matrix my love 🙏♥️ Much respect always Bryan!
Gosh, that forest green: stunning color. You are so blessed to always be surrounded with such beauty. Sending you 🐕❤️🙏
💜🙌💎🤙
Absolutely loved the smoky quartz points sticking out of the feldspar crystals. The contrast of colors was epic!
Yes the contrast of those colors is just awesome in the shapes, thank you for watching!
*HOME!* my favorite place on the planet. Wish I had the money to go home, tramping through the woods, hiking the mountains, reading and dozing in the sun by the rivers. Up in the highlands of the Northeast kingdom, north of the notches is the best place to be. Glad you had a good time and you're sharing your positive experience with everybody?😄
Beautiful crystals. The feldspar and smokey quarts together just make me think if the colors black and white. What a beautiful combination of gems.
Freaking awesome! Thanks for all you do Bryan. Can’t wait to see you soon 👍🏼
Verdade
Yeah bro, it’s super cool, will be seeing you soon and Missouri!
The heart-shaped stone with the crystal vug is sweet---I loved smokey quartz, a favorite stone for grounding and clearing.
You should do a tour of your full crystal collection sometime. I’d like to see all of the cool stuff you’ve amassed.
Open till just recently I was selling everything I found just to be able to keep digging and keep the business going. But I’m finally able to start collecting a few pieces now, I have a fun little collection from of the year still though I may have to try to film and show
The heart shaped one is so cool. Thanks sharing location and your knowledge.

Smokies are my favorite. I love watching your videos. They are almost as good as being there myself. No wonder you’re always smiling. 😀
Thank you so much for watching, 😃
Those are some great specimens, i love the crystals doesnt matter what kind they are all amazing
Was waiting for this video! This is one of my favorite spots to go. I’m from Maine, and this place has the best quarts I’ve run into so far. Glad you could make it
Yeah I’ve been wanting to go here for several years, finally pulled the trigger and can’t believe how good and fun the site really is!
What an awesome journey, thanks for taking us along with you. Amazing finds, really makes me want to dig up my whole yard and see what's there.
😂 hey you never know what just beneath the ground anywhere, I wouldn’t dig up the yard and less you’re seeing something on the surface though, 😆
@@TheCrystalCollector yeah definitely, the wife wouldn't be happy with me if I did.
I’m so glad for you when you find crystals!
There's no ugly crystals ..keep up the great work
10:10 ooooh! That’s my favorite 🤩 wow… wow wow wow.
I live near here! So glad to see someone highlighting the rockhounding in the Granite State!

Me too. Anytime you wanna dig let me know.
I've been going here for about 30 years and it's my favorite place. ALWAYS find something. My biggest whole crystal find is about 4 inches long by 1 1.2 wide. I found one side of a crystal that was about 4 x 6 inches. Would like to fine THAT guy. It's an easy hike in the summer and there are always people there.
It's so beautiful there. Thank you for sharing. I love your videos. I love rocks, not just crystals. I'm not able to travel much so these videos take me there with your excitement and energy
Yes I need to do more videos on different types of things that aren’t crystals as well, I agree that rocks are pretty too! Thanks for watching!
I'd like to say a BIG THANK YOU . for so many new shows!!!! Ya hop!!!! Thanks can't wait to see them all.☺😚😙😗😘😍😍😍😍
And a big thank you for supporting and watching, it’s much appreciated!

Love the adventure, beauty & knowledge you share! Thank you! Plus you have an awesome name!!😉
Beautiful Spot! Great finds, Whaaaaaaaat!! Say hi to Matrix for me!
What an amazing life for man and dog. Being out, being active and having fun.
Wonderful video Bryan, thank you for sharing it with us!!
What a beautiful walk to the site!!!
Those are some extremely beautiful crystals, woooow
Thank you so much for your passion! I'm about to hid the road in February to start my travels and grow my collection of crystals!! I definitely will have to check this place out💎🙏💛🤯🙌
Muito legal, colecionar cristal
LOVVEEEEE
That’s so awesome, hope you have a good fortune on your trip!
Wow Brian those are some awesome fines can’t wait for spring to come I want to get back out there and see what I can find
Another place to put on my list!
I'm think a small hand held siffer might be a good idea since the crystals are small and pretty much cover in the soil. I love smalls to make silver jewelry with.
Thanks Bryan for sharing this place with us👍.
I just put this one on my list. My 10 year old son is about as obsessed as I am… we will definitely be checking this place out.
I’m going here this summer and am beyond excited!
Nice finds. I'll have to put it on my list of places to visit. Keep up the great work.
Thank you for sharing! I live in NH and have never heard of this place! I'll be going once winter is over for sure!
Awesome, yeah highly recommend this location. If you can try to follow where I went in the video to find the more concentration of them as I did
Wow! Beautiful!!
Lindo mesmo
What a great video! Really enjoyed this, you have me wanting to dig! Greetings from Fort Collins, CO
Awesome adventure fantastic honey whole magnificent score of crystals beautiful, another fantastic video . Knowledge and history awesome thank you
Thanks so much for watching and support much appreciated!
Wow so beautiful I love it
The combination of feldspar and smoky quartz is such a beautiful contrast. I wouldn’t mind a biscuit like that. 😄
Thank you for another awesome video, sir!
Yeah that’s what I enjoy to the contrast of the two colors, thanks so much for watching
Definitely love the heart!!!
love your content thanks for posting
Awesome video. I live not far from Moat Mountain. I take my family at least once or twice every year. Not everything we find there is a showpiece, but we always find crystals and other cool formations.
Love your videos and what you do. Keep it up!
Super cool finds. I'd love to go there sometime.

Great video as always lol heading to Hogg mine this saturday hyped 2 days away lol
Just soo Beautiful ❤

Love the crystal collector!
So beautiful love pictures and family
Just went yesterday and it was awesome , got a small Smokey quartz 🤘
You guys make it look so easy to find the good stuff💎💜
Verdade amigo
That’s because I don’t show the hours of work and Digging when I’m not finding anything, there’s a lot of that too, 😆 😂😅😂🤣
Wow! Been there a couple times. Did not do nearly as well. Nice
I love your channel so flipping much
Thanks so much for watching in the support, it’s much appreciated!
I keep adding to my bucket list of places to go from your videos 👍💕💎💎
Legal
Be sure if you haven’t noticed it, I have a playlist dedicated where all the videos that are open to the public or own and one nice format
We go every Wednesday during the summer hour and 45 minute drive from where we live. We also go to beryl Mountain in Acworth New Hampshire
Such a great video, Bryan! At least that nearly mile hike back there isn't as bad as Crystal Vista's hike in Arkansas! Ha!
If I'm ever in that area, I will definitely check this place out. Looks like so much fun!!
I just did a search, and it looks like I am a little over 1600 miles away. Ugh.
nailed it again bro!
🤙💎
I love when you point right to something and say, “See it right there.” It reminds me of the episode of Friends when Rachel is pregnant and goes for her first ultrasound but starts crying when the doctor leaves the room saying, “I don’t see it!” That’s me. I never see it until you hold it up unless it’s really big even though you’re pointing right at it. Lol!
Oh yea I remember that one too 😆💎
Perfeição da natureza,, like, amigo
Ever day with you is an epic day. ❤️
I love this video of all the miner-als, now I wanna go:):)
Oi amigo, também amo pedras
A heart just in time for Valentines day 💗.
💜
I have dug up at Moat Mountain a few times. We used to dig closer to the bottom of the mountain and even some times of the side of the mountain. There are plenty of quarts seems to explore..
Yeah that’s the spot that I agree, who knows what all is a waiting to be found, I heard Crystal’s at 2 foot long has been found
@@TheCrystalCollector Yes there has. The son of one of the owners of a crystal shop near there found a piece on the side of Moat mountain the size of a basketball that’s clear as glass and 2 feet long. We used to stop by there sometimes to buy books for crystal site locations and just to look and see what had been found.
One day if I can ever afford to I'd love to travel the country for a summer and hit up all these public dig spots.
Travel like I do, if you have something that you can sleep in a vehicle, just stop at Walmart and truck stops and things like that that looks safe, you can save lots of money. You could even take showers at the truck stops for $12-$14
@@TheCrystalCollector Thanks. That's great advice.
Hey, that's pretty much where I grew up. As soon as I saw the covered bridge and the river view I almost jumped out of my chair. Awesome!!! Obviously wasn't last week. If you ever get back out that way, at least poke your head into Ruggles Mine down in Grafton, great mica pieces and some occasional quartz crystals, at least there was many years ago. I actually found a cathedral piece there that I just found again packed away in a box that I had completely forgotten about and it's soaking in soapy water as I type. If you see an old guide book that talks about the staurolite at Perch Pond in Lisbon, don't bother. It got bought and someone built a house there, I think I was one of the last people to get something out of there, that was probably 2 decades ago, maybe a bit less. There's great stuff up in the whole Northern New England area, plus it's downright beautiful. Glad to see you got up there after Herkimer.
Que legal
Oh well thanks for the advice, yeah I have it checked out that but yet the staurolite. The covered bridges in the area are so cool, I drove my RV through one and it barely made it
Thanks brother! Fond memories of the first Topaz Mountain Dig in Oct 2020!! Definitely going to have to check this place out next time I am in the northeast! Working on our plans for spring/summer/fall digging. Let us know what your travel plans are and when the Crystal Clubhouse digs are going to be so Rose and I can plan them into our digging season! Hope you are well!
For sure we’ll be doing lots of clubhouse digs this year, we would do one at Moat Mountain as well, right now the next one is going to be in Missouri. I may do something while I’m out west near Tucson next week but will be on the spurt
love watching your videos, feels like I am also there. love from Philippines!
Thanks so much for watching🙌
Hey Byan, this is great stuff. I love that you take the time to explain what you're looking for and how to recognize the right conditions for those bigger crystals. Moat is one of my favorite spots, and I usually get up there several times a year. Even though people have been digging there since at least the 1940's there is still amazing stuff to find. Back in 2020 I found a decomposed pocket with several huge, fist-sized smoky quarts crystals. If you plan to come back, I'd love to meet up and prospect with you!
Im here now could you give me a tip?
Y’all found some fantastic crystals !! Awesome video !! Now that would be a fun Crystal prospecting trip !! I live in Florida so that’s a long trip to New Hampshire but it would be worth it !!
Yeah the summertime or fall is a great experience up there, definitely go if you get a chance!
Man, when you said "feldspar" I was REALLY hoping to see either schiller moonstone or labradorescence, some sort of chatoyancy but this is still cool.
So wonderful, wish it was not so far from Texas
✈️ 🤙💎🙏🤙
Hi Bryan, another good location for those who can get there. A bit far for me so I’ll have to watch on from here. Those specimens may not be large but they appear to have great formation from what I can see. Keep Safe & Keep Rockin
Yes they are really cool, and I hear that the crystals and this location have been found up to a foot-long, I guess I need to go back and look for the big ones, 😂
Hey Boss you are number 1 crystal finder ❤️
Bons cristal
Thanks 💎🤙💜
One of the pieces you showed us with the smokey crystals and the feldspar crystals looked like pieces of chocolate mixed with small white marshmallows lol, I haven't had either in years but it made me laugh at myself. The heart shape is my favourite, its gorgeous Bryan and the rest of them are small but special. The different colours the ordinary Crystal's and the smokey maybe quite small but well worth searching for. Its a beautiful place to spend time in too. Take care and stay safe please my friend God bless you and Matrix love and hugs Mary-Ellen UK ps Terry says hello.
Verdade
Oh that’s cool, I haven’t thought about them looking like marshmallows but you’re exactly right they do! Tell Terry I said hey 👋
That was really fun to watch and to see a place you hadn’t t been to. I was about to think there wasn’t such a place left. 😂
😂 The more I travel the more I realize there’s lots and lots of places that I still haven’t been to, it’s pretty amazing. Thank you so much for watching and the support!
"Gah-lee !" I was wondering what was this "word" you prononce in every videos ! Thanks for writing it, I could googled it 😊
And still awesome finds, awesome cristals 🤩 you are so lucky !
Maybe for most people but I don’t say golly I say gah-lee 😂
Yeah I’m sure lots of people were wondering what I was kind of saying, I’ve always said since I was a kid I guess it’s something in the south
I can not wait to go dig here!!! I didn't know this place existed I luv rockhounding. I'm right next door in Maine so as soon as we get rid of this gross white stuff ⛏💎
Yes definitely check this location out it’s super fun and lots of stuff to fine, once you get into a good area
People have been digging there since the 60s. But there are spots there that you can get into Virgin ground but its a lot of work. Just up the hill from where you are i got a smokey/topaz pocket. I have topaz growing on smokey crystals. I haven't been there in a few years but definitely going back next year. You did really good it can be tough there.
Oh wow, I have heard of the Topaz and other things coming from out there! Yeah I figured I got fairly lucky to get into a good area that quick
Great
Have you been to Ray's Mine in Burnsville,NC?Found some nice Aquamarine. Its public.
Sweet
I love how you added the text Gah-lee 🤣 Cool finds!
😂 🙌
Would it be a problem if I could go on one of thoses digging sites with you and your Crew do I have to pay a fee I been watching you dig for a while now crystal caught my eyes 👀 when my son bought this property in Louisiana I was seeing theses small pieces of glass I thought 💭 but it was little small crystals I was digging in the ground right behind his house and and I found over a hundred marbles I said theses ain’t marbles they were Crystals balls digging that stuff out of the earth 🌍 like Wow 😮 God is amazing 🤩 the earth 🌍 holds so much Glamour love you guys 🙏🙏🙏
Que legal,, e na sua propriedade tem muito cristal??
Sometimes I do huge public digs but I do lots of private group meet ups, if you’re on Facebook check out the Crystal Clubhouse, it’s an awesome group of people
if I come to this video because your dog is so cute 🥰😍
🐶💎
Hello from Iceland. I love all your videos here on youtube and can´t wait for the next one. But there is one question from me. Why did you say Garún Garún? ;) :)
Amazing finds! I was hunting for smokies in feldspar here in Scotland on the Isle or Arran recently but was not lucky lol.
Oi amigo
Great spot, I'm heading to Goat Fell in the spring.
@@carol-annhunter4631 hi
@@carol-annhunter4631 Its a beautiful place. Shame it was pouring down the whole time I was there though! I hope u find some crystals on the mountains :)
@@Dave7heRave Rain is par for the course anything else is a bonus! I'm a stone throw from the Campsies apparently there's decent Jasper there so on the bucket list as well :)
Let me know when you are back in NH! Been to Moat mint before.
Should be up there around early summer!
Smokey’s with a mirror finish, nice bro.
Muito bom amigo
Yeah that’s what really attracts me to these crystals is there nice luster, you don’t get that a lot of times with Smokies
