I'm new to drifting and watched the reviews on this and I've got to say for someone that's clueless in the drift world I've found it really easy to use and now want to progress.
And here I thought I wasn't going to find something like this close to Baltimore. I bought an rds when they came out but never had anyone to drive with. Ill have to come check this place out.
Awesome! I just installed my hobby wing xr10 Sensoren brushless setup into mine. Lots of power and torque with precision! I’m local to that store. Wanna try it with new setup!
Hi, can you help me with the components to achieve 90 degrees of steering? I tried to search online but I didn't find anything satisfactory, your video is the only one that helped me and gave me the right idea, I'm just missing the components to take, Thanks so much for your help. 1:52 in this point
Traxxas finally in the drift scene and not too shabby of a chassis with a little more work as well as a brushless setup, it can really be a competitive chassis
You should let him know before throwing power at it, he will want to swap the ring and pinion in the rear diff, there plastic from factory. Normal 4tec one works but you have cut down the center drive shaft from a 4wd 4tec to make it work.
@eck_money if your looking for something to learn at home and take to the track now and then this should be good. However if you plan on getting in deeper than you may want to either price out upgrades for this or just build your own chassis.
Fact the body is and shouod always be cool. Companies focus on the body when it should ne the quality of parts and iver all design that makes the car drive the wat you want. Alot if comoanies focus on the body as the maun welking point which is bs. Traxxas is an awesone company but every car lacks something but once you uprade thode part's its bullet proof.
@frozenshade666 there is much room for improvement no doubt but I feel that for the price it's not a terrible option to get people out to the track and also have something to drift around outside too.
If you haven’t figured it out yet. Some models come in “training mode”. 50% power and no reverse for some reason. Turn the esc on and hold the button and it’ll go from red to green and then blink once. When it blinks release the button and it’ll go solid (the light on the esc). Then turn it off and power everything back on and you’re good.

@@irshred hell yeah! Can't wait to get some doors with you out to First State!
After all of those upgrades you would think that making it VXL would be pretty high up there, really titan 12?

These modifications for higher degree look cool! It will be better with brushless motor & esc for more power. Can't wait. Interested.
@treadbreaker23 thanks for watching and your feedback is much appreciated!

Brushless is the way!! Can't wait to see her with brushless setup.
I followed the mods that you guys did here. Then I took a Velineon 3s in it 😂

I am looking at this car do you think it is good for beginners and for when I get better at it?

@@edriftin What are upgrades you think are worth buying and make it better? I’ve heard the servo is kinda weak.
@@eck_money definitely brushless motor and esc would be a killer upgrade along with Servo and Gyro.
Can you list the part numbers you got to make it 90 degrees
Is there somewhere I can follow his build? I HATE the tsm and wondering how he got around it with an aftermarket gyro.

@edriftin Sick, thanks man. Love the platform.
Does anyone know why it don’t reverse
That's cool but with the upgrades and more needed it's not cost efficient
@davidwarren4295 yeah there are lots of different options.
@@edriftin the body and mount is super cool though
I wanna see it with boost
how do i make mine pull a 90 degree?
@tyleryearsley4860 Check out the links in the description for Matt send him a message on instagram.

IS A TOY NO RC DRIFT CAR ... TRAXXAS DRIFT ? HAHAHAH YES YES IN YOUR DRAMS TRAXXAS !
@@pandemiofpv a toy that can slide good enough to get people in the hobby though!
It just needs a servo, gyro, motor, esc, mods to add steering angle and then some to still not be great. Lol.

Please tell me where in the video I can see a "Fine car" ? This can barely run around the track!
