Really enjoyed this , brilliant work guys
Great stuff lads, i was an avid magazine buyer back in the day so i always avoided the stinkers like Miami Vice, Street Hawk and Knight Rider. Unfortunately my parents weren't and they picked up Airwolf for Xmas the year it came out.....ooft that got 5 minutes of play and shoved in a drawer never to be played again.
Would have been nice to hear more views on the Amstrad games as that was my weapon of choice but hey ho it was still fun.
And it was Neilsen ratings, they still use it now, if you are chosen you have a box on top of your telly that registers what you watch and that's how they get the ratings system.
Really enjoying this video version. Some of the games I hadn't seen the c64 versions before so that was extra nice. BTW Fort Apocalypse was also on C64. I had that release, fun but tricky.
If people are wondering why some clips of the shows are blurred out, it's due to RUclipss copyright strikes.
Yeah, it was a blooming nightmare... This was my third attempt to upload, and it took 5 hours each time to see if I got all of the footage that blocked it. We didn't care and left those who demonetised the vid as we weren't worried about that. Still, I find it weird that the opening of Munsters is blocked in the US and Canada. You would think Copyright holders would like free advertising LOL
I have no memory of Streethawk. I've been listening to remixes/remakes of the theme while working recently and it's as good as Knight Rider's or Airwolf's.
It was so short-lived - blink and or was gone. But indeed,, a cool theme tune
Yes, I used to love Streethawk as a kid; I was shocked by so few episodes.
Yeah apparently it's ratings were deplorable in the states so it was shit canned super fast but it was loved over here in the UK and a lot of that was down to it's intro with the images and the soundtrack.
As much as i loved the show though i had read the reviews of the game and knew it was one to avoid.
