How to Add Porter Silhouette Nasal Mask to a Matrx Flowmeter System | Parker Porter

This video explains how to quickly and easily modify a Matrx (or fixed bag tee) flowmeter for use with the Porter Silhouette Low Profile Nasal Mask.
The Porter SILHOUETTE nasal mask is a revolutionary new dental nitrous oxide mask and tubing designed by a dentist for dentists. It eliminates the hassles many dentists associate with using the gas, nitrous oxide. The nose piece design is a compact and comfortable nasal mask that creates an excellent seal around the nose reducing leakage and allowing for a predictable nitrous experience. Featuring 4 size options to allow a great fit for all sizes of patients. Easily retrofit all modern nitrous oxide systems with the Silhouette Connection Kit (SIL-CONN-KIT).
Steps:
• Remove the breathing tube, breathing bag, and vacuum tube.
• Close the side where the bag originally was and add an adapter over the 22mm fresh gas delivery port.
• Attach the silhouette tubings - smaller diameter tubing for fresh gas and the vacuum tubing to the vacuum block.
• The Matrx system is now prepared for use with the disposable Silhouette breathing circuit.
