the first tiem i heard of this song was in the game Gothic. The Band "In Extremo" performed their verison of this song in the game. Thank you for your upload
I absolutely love this I would to learn how to play this incredible sounding instrument. Where did you acquire your tagelharpa? Thanks so much for your videos, they’re a great inspiration!!
Hi i love your works! I bought a tagelharpa recently but i live in a country where tagelharpa is literally unknown. There is literally no one who plays this instrument and i really want to learn it but it is a bit difficult for me since i have no one to guide me. Can you give me some advice on how to start learning tagelharpa? I would appreciate it if you can answer me 🙏🏻🙏🏻
Ive been in Norway and Sweden, and even there, no one knew the instrument, not even by name. Becouse there are so view that play it, you got to learn it by yourself. Dont be afraid to sound bad. I use the app "Gstrings" Not only for tuning, but also for finding notes, and mark them with something for learning purposes, and mabye remove them later. And just enjoy playing it, including making mistakes. And play everytime your bored. Put the instrument somewhere you can see it, so the urge to play is bigger. (My english is a bit limited, but i hope you understand) Good luck
@@alravi8707 I understood it very well, thank you so much 🙏🏻 It is surprising that even in Norway no one knows the instrument. Thank you for your answer 😊 And one more question, how can I detect the notes of certain songs (since a lot of songs with tagelharpa don't have a notes list) and match them on the instrument?
@@yagmurkahya9480 first mark some notes on your tagelharpa (on the wood) for practice. Then watch other people play, and watch how they coordinate their fingers. Thats how i did it. You really have to find your own style, and become fluent with it in your own way. Dont be to hard on yourself, this takes time :)
@@alravi8707 This was all very useful - especially the reminder that it takes time - I needed that. Thanks for answering (and the OP for asking in the first place)!
Very cool. Would love to take the time to learn this instrument. What is the string tension like compared to other instruments? I can imagine breaking a string would be quite painful. Not that it would stop me from trying, just a thought.
This instrument sounds so beautiful. Wow..😮
Это фантастичный инструмень! И исполнение супер классное! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
🤘look forward to every new video. Love the sound and technique
Thanks for posting. It was nice to see this in my subscriptions this evening. A good way to wrap up a day filled with academic anxiety.
Невероятное, потрясающее исполнение! Сколько Вы играете на данном инструменте? Имели опыт игры на смычковых инструментах?

He's Back!
Her Mannelig !! Greatings from Poland
If this Instrument wasn't probably 1200€ or whatever I would totally get it and play it about 12 times a year.
All jokes aside, this is awesome.
They're generally around 200 to 500 euro
This is so freakin cool!!
Wow that sounds great!
Hello friend, I have a question. Does this instrument use harp strings?
Omg I love it

It sounds interesting! What's your tune of a talharpa?
Thank you. Its D#A#D#
@@alravi8707 thank you very much, friend!
Homie hittin it 👍🏿
👋alravi 🤔you play perfectly, I see you perform classical and national music. forgive me if I'm wrong.🦋
How the hell are you hitting the right notes without any reference or frets?! This must be way harder than a violin or fretless guitars
Violin has no frets and fretless guitar is WAY more difficult than this
magnifique
nice job
Nice, rly
I know I’m late to see this, but sir, do you by any chance take marriage proposals? 😂😂
Hey. Do you mean if i am able to play at a wedding?
Haha no I asked so I can submit mine. It was an awful attempt at a joke. 🥲🥲

I know the song, but can't place the artist name
Its a old folk/ballad song from 1877 called Herr Manneling. The band Garmarna made it more known.
there is a german band that has a version of it, they also appeard in the computer game gothic in 2001.
In Extremo - Herr Mannelig
