I knew when billy died, all the evil critics would come out of the woodwork. Billy offered the message of Christ to all that he came in contact with. I cannot believe the comments ive seen on the internet. The evidence of the Holy Spirit working in his ministry was all the people who came forth to accept jesus. I was a little girl when I first started watching his crusades. I am thankful for his obedience to Jesus because I am standing here today with Christ.

When WA said having premarital sex was like getting a "learners permit", I think this is a wrong comparison. Rather think of a court room. The judge does not date the defendant or plaintiff bc this would unduly prejudice him in their favor. So too, if you are involved in the sin of premarital sex, you cannot make an unbiased, balanced, right judgement of the person but are hopelessly biased in their favor, and are blinded to whether they are suitable or not.

I live in Israel among some very nice and very smart Jews (of which I am one...nice anyway) and the only ones who would be sunk if the Bible were to be reasoned out would be organized religion. tony turtle when the Bible speaks of a wealthy man entering the gates of Heaven, it is speaking of someone that is not willing to give up his riches for Christ. The Bible does not state it is wrong to be wealthy, it frowns on people idealizing their possessions. Most wealthy people (not all) are not willing to give up those riches for Christ, so the difficulty is giving up things for Christ. It is not saying it cannot be done. As the parable states, it's difficult for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle...the needle in Biblical time is a gate/opening into a city and the camel must kneel and crawl to pass through the eye of the needle to enter the city...difficult, but possible. I hope this helps.
