  • For sale a Geloso G213 tube PA head from the early 60s in excellent conditions that I restored and modified for guitar use.
Tube line up is NOS Ken Rad 12SL7, NOS Raytheon 12SL7 and a pair of Geloso branded 6V6s. All the tubes test fine for quality and life on my Jackson 648. Circuit is loosely based on a Princeton Reverb. First coupling cap is a vintage Dubilier candy bar, phase inverter coupling cap is a vintage REC, tone caps are vintage Geloso and a vintage domino mica. Output coupling caps are Yellow Jupiter. F&T electrolytics. Vintage resistors have been used wherever possible. Controls are Volume, Bass and Treble.
Original power an output transformers. Both hefty and overdesigned. Rectifier section is tube based and it features a vintage coke bottle 5Y3, if you need more power and a faster response you can substitute that with a GZ34. Just remeber to rebias the amp as the B+ will go up. Output section is fixed bias and puts out 12W of clean power. Output impedance is 8 ohm but it can be made of any value just by bridging the many output transformer secondary wires in the correct way. There's an explanatory chart on the back of the amp.
Mains voltage can be selected from 110 to 280.
