im so impressed, i never thought of using threads to secure my work together before i actually sew it together. this is so obvious and so overlooked. only very sensitive materials will be getting clips now and i can pretty much ditch my pins
Check out Toiler Tuck And if you want challenge, Try to not relying on pre-made commercial patterns. I don’t know exactly about South Korean tho. But I kinda believe mostly everywhere besides westerners countries, there aren’t any commercial patterns available. Hell… I found more patterns making tutorials in my language or Indian English …etc. then in English in both quantity and variety. (I mean video that not “altering commercial patterns” or “what the patterns called for”)
This is really cool... I love that you're clearly an expert in the field of tailoring, but ALSO clearly an expert in the aspects of ASMR in this line of work. I hope you make more in this series, even if it's a different suit by now.
I really enjoy watching this making a suit process ...as for me it's like a therapy seing people do handsew on suit .... it's not easy to make one I'm sure especially for me a person with zero sewing basic .. watching you do it as easy as ABC. Kindly show us step by step. And also what kind of fabric you're using.Thank you.
Oh my god. The stitches mark the lines on both sides so it matches perfectly. I've been trying to mark both pieces with chalk with disasterous results. This makes so much sense.
He’s using what are called “tailor’s tacks” if you want to look up specific videos on RUclips of how to do them. They’re time-consuming but yield far better results :)

How frustrating it must be to be so skilled in an art, document it so creatively and professionally, and not get the likes it deserves. Well done! I loved it, thumbed it and sub’d it!
Oh my! I just found your channel and this suit making series is my favorite. I hope there is more to come. It is relaxing and fascinating at the same time. Thank you!
I imagine seeing this person eat at a restaurant and just glancing over to see him and how he moves his hands around in a articulate and precise way, only to not know that he makes suits….
My jaw drop when he was cutting the fabric😮 scissors is so sharp. His very tedious on cutting and putting together. Just a question, this fabric is this going to be the actual fabric of this suit?
I like the table where you do your work, beautiful wood . I study fashion design but I haven’t been available to do much it takes a lot of time, discipline and dedication plus I’m homeschooling my children but I want to teach my daughter to sew.
Sadly there isn't much to show for ASMR. Since the next steps is for the customer to have a final fitting, then they sew it with a machine and that's it. Customer isn't a part of this channel and machine sewing wouldn't be a pleasant ASMR lol
Thank you for a fascinating insightful video WITHOUT any music. I always click mute if ther is any. I love the way you work, everything is so efficiently done, with a subtle flair. Nice, please keep the videos coming, i could watch for hours and hours.
They called marking stitches. U transfer the chalklines through all the layers, since the chalk is only on one piece and also on the left side, so the inside of the fabric. Later, when the jacket is lined, you will not be able to see the chalklines, therefore u have the little stitches. Most of them stay through the whole process of the making and get only replaces when the piece is almost done
This makes me want to try my hand at making a few suits. But I'd probably buy D.I suits and tailor them for practices so I can have some decent suits learn my fit and hope to make quality like this. Would love to do this as a job but no many places to apprenticeship in.
This is a different suit to the first one, they're not the same fabric, in the first video the fabric was striped blue but in this video is just plain navy
suit ini kendi yapan pırıl pırıl delkanlıları görüyorum bu aralar yaşamlarındaki en güzel anlardan biri için özel birşeyler düşünüyor olmalılar gerçekten heyecan verici 30 40 yıllık tecrubeye sahip olmasalarda bir şeyler yapmaya çalışıyorlar nasılsa videonun bir alışkanlığı olmuş
Just a question but what are the basting stitches along the rib cage, either side down the center of the bodice, and towards the seam of the bodice for?
im so impressed, i never thought of using threads to secure my work together before i actually sew it together. this is so obvious and so overlooked. only very sensitive materials will be getting clips now and i can pretty much ditch my pins
i’ve now learned they are called basting stitches. i really should watch more tutorials
@@allenlebaron8993 This is the best way to learn though, truly. Just watching someone who knows their trade, and picking up little tricks.
Thread marking and basting are the original way to stitch and mark. We can learn so much by studying historical methods.
Yep that is supposed to be the first step haha😅

I love that there's none of that annoying background music. Just see the brilliance and precision of this artist.
I really enjoyed the 2 videos in this series so far. Hopefully, you'll make more videos showing the process to completion.
Yes, indeed! I was dying to see how the striped blue suit turned out!
Same looking for part 3, nothing 😩
Please do more of these videos. I really enjoyed both "Process of making a suit" videos. More please 🙏 🙂

I love these No Talking ASMR videos. 👏🥰 Thank you. **More, please!**🙏🌸

Just loved the fact there was no voice over, able to watch and enjoy the hypnotic movements of a master.

Now this is what you call handmade. Most places now say handmade if a person operates a machine to do it. This however is true art
크... 넘나 재밌는 것

Very good cinematography too
Art!! Like watching Bob Ross paint a masterpiece
Thank You, We Can Now Hear The Work..Beautiful
This speaks to both the asmr lover and fashion designer in me. I love watching and learning the tailoring process but never want to do it full time.
Make More this kind of video.its so relaxing
저번 asmr도 그렇고 이건 정말 독보적인 콘텐츠 같습니다👍👍👍

Astonishing! Fabulous to watch such skill - lovely

Beautiful stitching and sewing.

Nice working 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
Not only is the work fantastic, but the editing is phenomenal! This just shuts my mind off! 💤 😴
so basting is done, where's the rest (actually sewing) ? Just 1 layer of inner lining ? pockets ? Is there a third video ?
Insane video & audio quality 👏👏👏
I made a suit for fashion school last year. This reminded me of good times, thenk you♥️
I know this is a really random comment but that is a beautiful table.

It's a real bummer that they stopped after part 2. Would'be been really nice to see it until the final result.
Is there a part 3 ? Im so engage with this !! Please Upload a third part even if its no the same suit i would love to see one

Wow I love these videos!!!
This was incredible to watch!
Why do you make all the stitches starting at 2:05 only to cut them apart shortly thereafter? What is their purpose?
Imagine it's to mark the seam/placement lines, but I am no expert.
it's the process of attaching two different sides. For fitting.
They called marking stitches. U transfer the chalklines through all the layers, since the chalk is only on one piece and also on the left side, so the inside of the fabric. Later, when the jacket is lined, you will not be able to see the chalklines, therefore u have the little stitches. 3편도 있죠? 기대됩니다

Smart …nice jacket
thank you
What kind of fabric did he use? Looks super smooth ngl 👀✨
Good job
Part 2 was even more interesting than part 1!💜
Different fabrics were used, re watch the first one and you'll see the fabric he used was stripes blue but in this one it's just plain navy

Incredible. Absolutely, incredible.
Forget the suit, i wanna know more about what the tailor is wearing. That green jacket looks sweet
Every tailor has the same exact iron.
Hello brother very good job
소리도 좋고 과정이 너무 멋집니다..👍 실제 시간은 얼마정도 걸리는건가요?
실제 가봉시간은 테일러들 마다 다른데 3-5시간 정도 소요되십니다^^
So enjoyable to watch and admire the skill. Absolutely loved it.
Eu adoro esses vídeos
I was surprised to see the measuring sticks/straight edges graduated in inches.

Part 3 ?
This is a different suit to the first one, they're not the same fabric, in the first video the fabric was striped blue but in this video is just plain navy
Can you share how to draw a pattern and cutting and stitching step
Its in a previous video ruclips.net/video/1hB-rT8eoFQ/видео.html

It stopped there? where’s the rest of the part?
I have no clue what on earth is going on, but it's kewl.
That's because you're parents are siblings and the reason you can't spell the word COOL

Is there any chance a complete tutorial series could be made for this suit?
Gorgeous 👍👏

So the stitches are temporary, is that why you cut them,so that you can pull them back out? I assume it's like using pins only without using pins.
Me...hunting for the final sewing....
Two questions. 1.) What kind of thread is used here? 2.) What does the stitching accomplish? The thread is in time removed, yes?
Here I am enjoying this nice peaceful video of a hand made suit whe-GET EXACTLY WHAT YOU WANT WITH WAYFAIR
멋있다는 말밖에 안나오네요~😏👍
혹시 옷이 완성되면 실표뜨기한 실은 하나하나 손으로 뽑는건가요🧐?
네! 모두 완성한 후에 다 손으로 뽑습니다:)
Where's the 3rd part.. i demand you to publish it
Trabalho de qualidade! Admirável!
Sou encantado por essa obra !
I've never seen basting stitches done like this..
Hi am from Nigeria this so cool
Just a question but what are the basting stitches along the rib cage, either side down the center of the bodice, and towards the seam of the bodice for?
