Metal is making a comeback
For those who never knew: Danny was supposed to have a daughter but she passed away sending him down his path of drug and alcohol abuse. This song was his defining moment in overcoming that. Knowing that much about him, it really gives this song a whole new meaning, you can hear the torment in his voice. "The tears have left a blur like I can't explain, the pain has left a hole in which my heart should've been." But with that, he wasn't going to let this circumstance take away his potential. Hence " I'm back and better than ever." Truly an incredible message and an emotional story behind the song showing that as people we can choose who we are destined to be.
When I first listened to this song, the emotion of it just left me amazed and I fell in love with the song. This explains why and it makes it all the better. Great song.
Ogsnake Snake me too. I never knew the story behind it. But fell in love with the intense raw emotion. This just makes that all the more better.

METAL IS RELIGION not really... he was bad only in the last shows which really tired him down to death. In some concerts he sounds exceptionally amazing. Especially in the Denver one. Give him some time and look how amazing he becomes
I saw them live and he ain’t to bad doing a live show tires people out so they won’t be all hyped up and sound different that’s all I like him live and I saw them I believe when the album was still new

I will never be able to get over Danny's singing voice. its so unique and distinct, everytime i hear him sing im in awe
I love this song, both the metal and rock versions. Amazing vocal range for only being 23. I was worried earlier this year about him coming back, but he's BETTER THAN EVER! Danny's got an amazing scream, but he needs to let more of his singing show cuz that's where he shines. Not many vocalists who have done to their voice what Danny has done, none of them sound as good as he does. Although, I have to say Moving On is probably my favorite song of theirs of all time.

Oliver-Vic Carquinn true their music has matured a lot. Their new album isn't bad at all. I feel like as I age I will appreciate it much more but for now stand up and scream and reckless and relentless are my favorite albums. Not that there newest album didn't have some great songs (ex. Eve, where did it go?, Hopelessly hopeful)

First time listening to this album, his scream is very different I don't know how I feel about it. it's very growly compared to previous albums

The Vegan Bear I think you need to do your research on what the difference is between Deathcore and Metalcore. Asking Alexandria has always been a metalcore band. Just over the years they've always changed their style
Conner Smith I'm quite aware about the difference I can tell the difference between bands like Parkway drive and thy art is murder and I can tell you now Danny didn't sing like a metalcore singer in stand up and scream those raspy highs and lows were deathcore.
The guitars might have been metalcore and the lyrics but his singing was definitely not metalcore.
Also considering the synth they used they could be considered post hardcore

Both are so good that I can't compare them, I may lean 1% more to Danny but that is my oppinion.
You should see Danny worsnop in the Mitch lucker memorial show (on RUclips of course)... His highs are incredibly high. I Still like Denis as a vocalist tho
