I just stumbled across this channel today and it took me about half a second to hit the subscribe button! I absolutely love the content! Keep up the good work Don!
Just gonna admit it, when I see the finished product, I almost forgot the gimmick is made of cardboard. I keep wanting to think its made of plastic. Remarkable craftsmanship. All the gimmicks look really good. But this one may look even better. Awesome magic too.
Excelente sus tutoriales para la fabricación de estás cajas mágicas, que bueno poder encontrar un canal donde aprender a realizar los aparatos para quienes nos gusta este maravilloso Arte de la Magia, Felicitaciones, Éxitos!!!
at the end of the video you can see where the deck of cards has been cut out allowing the middle part to be pushed over, that's why the 1st and last card are put back where they are, to hide it when the deck is removed. other than that it was a cool trick.
@@letsmakemagic8233 I love the set up. I am thinking about how to switch it up a bit after the effect for the spectators, with a clean deck. I have clumbsy fingers.
The only way I see that is if you pull the deck, hand the spectators the box to inspect and do a deck switch before showing the deck after the box inspection...
@@letsmakemagic8233 He is referring to how to make the trick "clean" for inspection after it is done so the spectators can look at the trick elements to see nothing "fishy" is going on.
Hello, how to make even large illusions, for example origami box, interlude illusion, passing through a small fan, spontus 360 levitation. Zig Zag crate to split the girl in half. The Buzz Saw Illusion etc. Thanks.
The problem with working with wood is you need machinery or power tools although I admit it would look better and yes my cards are small. RUclips don't pay me enough for bicycle cards.
I think it would be better if the cards were placed all the way to the left and if the device was just a bit taller so you couldn't see the actual position of the deck as it was secretly moved to the right. You want the effect to be that the cards slice through the entirety of the deck. As it is the effect is that the cards slice through about two thirds of the deck.
You really got me with this. I was like "What the duck! How the hill! That's not possible!"
Congratulations, sir.
Thanks!
Thank you for your support, much appreciated.
This might just be the best one of your projects yet, including of your newer builds.
You are an absolute savant and i think I'm actually jealous.
Thank you for your support
Great loved it will try it out. Thanks Jim from Windsor member of Home Counties Magic Society.
Amazing illusion!

other than that?
A bit unforgiving on video, but definitely worth it in real life.
How did you cut out the deck cards in such a uniformed way?
Mark each one individually and cut with a craft knife, yes, it was a nightmare but not a full deck.
@@letsmakemagic8233 I was afraid you'd say that, lol. Thank you nonetheless. I hope to make this 1 day.
How did you cut the slits for the cards to pass through?
It's why I use 2 mm thick cardboard. It's easy to cut intricate shapes with a sharp knife
Nice. How do you choose clean up when done?
Sorry, not sure what you mean.

bet i could make it with thin wood, and using bicycle cards which i know there wider than the cards you're using. but it looks great

The gimmick would be more visual if it were less wide...

i don't understand how the two horizontal cards can cross the deck of cards that is vertical to it. Please give us more information on how it works
i think you haven't revealed everything. The block of cards is probably modified
Please watch all of the video, l give the solution
@@jacquesnicolau4518he reveals it at 10:18 in the video.
Watch the video!
@@newmonengineering okay, i didn't look until the end, but on reflection i had found the solution
Curious, how do you cut the slits for the cards?
Sharp craft knife and steel ruler
