Sir, I need this mic, but in India it costs 13500, which is too expensive for me. Can you buy a black, new Signature Series, or can you sell yours? I currently have 42$ on my account, which is 3500, so I can send you money if you agree. Since 2022 Rode mics are my favorite, but due to their expense I can't even think of having one. But finally they launched this and I'm getting mine.d to get this sir🙂 hope u could understand my feelings 💔
Thank you for this!! I wondered if I could use this with my ipad but didn’t know whether using the NT1-A with an SC22 wire (usb-c to usb-c) from the interface to ipad would work? Is that what you used? Thanks again!
Thanks for the video Paul! Wanted to ask if the onboard DSP is also available when plugged into your iPad. Does it retain the settings from your laptop or is there another app on your iPad/phone that you can use as well? Thanks again!
At the time of recording this video, I did not find an app for the iPad. However, I do believe that the microphone retains the settings last set from your computer. Hope this video helped
Can I confirm that the mic will work if I plug it directly to my MacBook Air using the usb c cable? My MacBook is a relatively new model using the M2 chip.
I tried with Ipad Air 5 th generation. Unfortunately, it won’t work. iPad can’t detect the rode. Is there any special stuff to do in ipad configuration, so it detects rode mike? Moreover, rode won’t work with iPhone 15 pro max. Not sure, if fantom power supply will help.
I don't have a newer phone to try this, but my guess is it should work. Only issue I can imagine why it wouldn't work would be power. Maybe there's a y splice usb-c that would solve that?
@@PaulMDiaz Oh I see, its a request Paul, in a future video pls let the audience know about it bcz still a good majority of ppl in places like India use iPhones or iPads with lightening connectors
Hi, you mention to be able to record directly with the Rode software to a computer or iPad, BUT it does not record in 32bit float, which defeats the purpose.
@@PaulMDiaz Thank you Paul, it seems to work. Only to be able to export the recording you have to pay, but only 3€ :-). However it is a shame that none of the Rode apps can record 32bit.
@@MikeO01 yeah and if I remember correctly, I mentioned in the video they’re not marketing this microphone to be mobile. But it would definitely be nice if they had that ability built into their own apps. TwistedWave and it’s definitely worth the purchase.
You should have more subs man, liked the quality and overall video, thanks
Thank you for the kind words, really appreciate that. Glad you enjoyed this.
Paul: Does it sound like it is worth 3x the amount?
Me: It sounds exactly the same.
Paul's face @4:01 😂
Love your reviews man ❤😢 soon u will also get a lot subs 🥺
Appreciate the kind words! Hope this video was helpful.

Hi. I used the same USB-C cable that came with the Mic into an iPad Air 4th gen.
Do you know if it would work with an older MacBook Air- 2019ish? Thanks for the video!
It should work. I still have a 2019 MBP and it works perfect.
@@PaulMDiaz 💃🏽🎉🙏🏾 thank you!

It works, but the volume is very low
@@xilefkruipthanks for the info!
What about the lightening iPhone or iPads?
I tried with the only adapter I own and it did not work.

How do you control the mic volume on ios device?

Try using the free version of TwistedWave

@@PaulMDiaz Yes, it would be nice if Rode made an effort to support their own microphones.
