- In this interview, Brian clears up why he really left westlife. He talks about his relationship with the mother of his children Kerry and his girlfriend at the time Delta Goodrem. Credit to Clare @ the committed. In my opinion a good interview. A lot of you are commenting about the interviewer but just so you know this is his style of interviewing and is why he gets the answers to the tough questions. However I was of the same opinion of Gerry Ryan when I first watched an interview with him.

Actually, this is one of the worst interviews i've seen, not because Brian's answer to all the issues being thrown to him but the way the interviewer asks the question.
The interviewer was talking down to Brian. He was simply trying to be difficult and argue for the sake of argueing. Who did he think he was telling Brian that it was the wrong decision to end his part in Westlife??? He had no right to at all. He could ask him why he ended it. But not judging Brian for it. NO!
Look like him or hate him brian was in Westlife and was a huge part of that special band he's a great singer!!!!
I still love u Brian no matter what ❤️❤️❤️
They we're very controlled because of fame and money that's why brian choose to leave. He can't do it anymore he has a life to live with his family. But sadly, he divorced with kerry. He gave up his career just to have time for his family.
Brian seems so bitter here....He's changed so much😥😥 He was so adorable...women problems

Interviewers should be good listeners, not try to steer an interview to fit the story they want to create.
Brian was right about Kerry. it's no one's business really
I understand him. I think the reason he left because they were controlled by the management like robots. They can't make their own decision. I remember when I watched one of their video diaries and they just slept for 45 minutes. Poor lads.

I agree ,Westlife as nice group of guys as they are, were just constantly rehashed..and reshashed, def manufactured, and def all about money...but they do have a nice catalogue of some really nice songs and videos..good for Brian for having the balls to leave, for whatever reason.... the interviewer himself thinks that he is smart but his not WTF?
I think the interviewer is just doing his job so we can see what is Brian's point of view. Anyway, I like bryan specially when he is still in westlife. I just like the way he answer when he was asked about his ex-wife if he loved her. "sigh" but i still like him.
He says in part 2 that at the time he did feel as though he loved her, when he married her he says it felt like he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her, but maybe it was also because it was his first serious relationship. I think he did love her but in a different way to how he loves his partners now.
Now he regrets leaving westlife, HAHAHA! BAD FOR HIM! That's why Louis doesn't like him to be back, cause of his answers to this one! LOL! Good thing he left! Westlife had been better w/out him!

Why would he just made his life fast when he's still young and then being a father? Lol! He thought that Westlife would disband after he left. Lol! Publicity at it best! Brian used Kerry for fame. That's a fact.
The interwier is objective, he just throws the truth right on his face, come on guys: any sane person would have asked the same! I would have done it! Some of the commenters are so blinded by fanatism that are not able to see at that time Brian was so lost and didnt know what he wanted: excuses! He was so unhappy he needed to get rid of something and got rid of her wife and girls for going after Delta, you know the story. How can you talk about the mother of your kids and bandmates(FRIENDS) that way! Why?! Kian is totally right about that.

The questions are so stupid. Why did you join it in the first place ; it doesn't have to come to an end ; are you saying the rest of the guys are cracking ; why do you think you're so much like this and the others weren't......what's that??? Lets slap Brian silly and see how he reacts? Someone should tell the interviewer that being rude and cruel is NOT equal to being incisive.
