I watched Darnold and Baker and I was frustrated that we let both of them go because they each showed potential but with Bryce He just looks completely overmatched by NFL talent. It's a different story. Even PJ Walker looked significantly better. This is on Tepper because he made a bad draft pick.
Canales did not create Mayfield's success. Really tired of that narrative. Just because he happened to be the OC last year, gave Baker plays that Baker KNEW were dead on arrival and didn't give him any option to change it at the line. Least amount of presnap motion of any team last year and the league's worst rushing attack. Baker balled out IN SPITE of Canales, not because of. We're seeing now the fruits of a real OC and real playcaller this year.
