Buraidah (Arabic: بريدة‎ Buraydah) is the capital of Al-Qassim Region in northcentral Saudi Arabia in the heart of the Arabian Peninsula. Buraydah lies equidistant from the Red Sea to the west and Arabian Gulf to the east. Its known for its dates festival which is the biggest in the world with various types of dates, its called the city of dates.
Buraydah, the regional capital of Al-Qassim Region, is located on the edge of the Wadi Al-Rummah. Buraydah has a typical desert climate, with hot summers, mild winters and low humidity.
In Buraydah, agriculture is still the cornerstone of the economy. The traditional oasis products of dates, lemon, orange and other fruits are still important. Modern introduction of wheat production has become so successful that Buraydah is one of the largest producers in the kingdom, important in making Saudi Arabia a net exporter of cereal.
Al Qassim farm is situated in Buraidha Saudi Arbia. It is a private farm but is opened for the public. We can harvest grapes directly from the farm. We need to pay SR. 15 to get Grapes box. We can fill our own or by filled grapes box from the gardeners. . Entry is free of cost we just have to pay for the grapes. Fresh grape juice is also available on demand. There is tea and coffee counter too to treat the visitors. Fig and orange also cultivating in the farm. But they are not on harvesting period.
A grape is a fruit, botanically a berry, of the deciduous woody vines of the flowering plant genus Vitis. Grapes can be eaten fresh as table grapes, used for making wine, jam, grape juice, jelly, grape seed extract, vinegar, and grape seed oil, or dried as raisins, currants and sultanas.
