I wonder if he was taking the egg back to his vixen or cubs, or just some clear ground to eat it in peace? That was deep water. Good job the swan didn’t catch him. We’ve been feeding the various different generations of foxes near us for about 7 years now and have found they all have very different personalities and with that comes different skill sets which they do try to teach their young, however I’ve never heard of any of them swimming and there is a lake with numerous birds on it fairly near to us. Amazing footage.
