Im 66 now. I ended up divorced 30 years ago in th UK. Forfeited the house. Had to work my but off to buy an apartment whilst child support took a third of my salary for 16 years. I've been living in Thailand now for 15 years. My Thai wife is a super star. She cooks my meals, does all the housework washes and irons my clothes, does the shopping and never complains.

I'm old enough to have known people who were married prior to the sexual revolution and the Marxification of our culture. I met many people married over 50 years. All had described problems at various times in their marriage that they worked through. All expressed love and happiness. What I think they all had in common was the understanding that love is an intension rather than a feeling. They all intended to sacrifice for the other's benefit.
In the early 1960s, I attended Catholic School and while on the playground 2 boys got into a fistfight. Two Nuns were watching and the younger one started to go over and break up the fight but the older Nun stopped her and said "Let them settle it now or it will only escalate." A few minutes later they both had bloody noses but one stood in triumph over the other. The older Nun then went over and gave both boys detention for fighting and sent them in for first aid. The next day I saw the same boys walking to school with their arms on each other's shoulders ... They remained friends throughout the rest of their school years.
I went to public school in the 90’s. We had a little head puncher in elementary school and I got a pass on wrestling him to the ground until we got the new principal the last year and we were introduced to 0 tolerance policies. After that it was 5 day suspensions for everyone involved regardless of circumstances or intent. Guys still became friends after fights.

When I was a young boy I was told my life would be roughly as follows: 0 - 10yrs as a child, 10 - 20yrs to learn and grow, 20 - 50yrs create a family and support it by working on a career, 50 - 70yrs retire and become grandparent to support and advise, 70 + yrs.. die .. it was simple and easy to understand when i was 15 yrs.. I worked super hard when I was younger, worked my way through college with no student loans, bought myself a condo at 22 figuring at some point I'd sell it and put the proceeds towards a house for a family, got a six figure job, stayed active going to the gym over the years, etc etc. In the end, I'm 40 now, net worth closing in on 2 million, debt free, and the dating prospects are lots of chubby single moms that still think they're 10s and "girl bosses," many of whom which, at least from my personal experience, are swimming in student loan and credit card debt and the mental baggage of spending the last 15-20 years of their life thinking it was empowering to sleep around. I wouldn't say there is no reason for men to be better. I have a rather comfortable life now even though I'm single, and had I not worked as hard early on in life, I'd still be single, I'd just be broke to go along with it. The thing that bugs me though is that being more successful means you get to pay more in taxes means you are forced to support a degenerate system the government subsidizes, where as while being forced to do that, if I want my best odds at finding a loyal wife and having a traditional family structure I have to move abroad for it, which is what I plan on doing in a couple more years. Kind of stinks I just couldn't find someone 15 years ago, but at this point taking my wealth and enjoying life abroad where the cost of living is 1/2 to 1/3 of what it is here and I can easily find a partner 10-15 years younger, I'll take that over what American women offer any day.

IKR? When I was in college, the "driven" ones I knew could not have cared less about dating, men and women alike. I still remember the pre-med crowd in particular, with the pre-law group a distant second. One of the pre-med girls would literally fall into tears if she got a "B" on anything. One of the guys (a 4.0 student, BTW) was under so much self-induced pressure that when he did go out partying, he pulled ALL the stops. Frankly, I was pleasantly surprised that they graduated without ending up on a psych ward and drug rehab (let alone the morgue) in the process.

I'm one of those men who, by most every metric would be considered a total and complete loser. It is harder to break into the bare minimum than ever and there is no reward for putting in any effort. I see men who worked harder than i ever did, who made every right choice and lived good, upstanding lives being destroyed and ruined by a system that hates and despises them. There isn't a single benefit to hard work anymore. I'm scared for what will happen to me in the future but i know men who made all the 'right moves' have ended up in an even worse place than me without having ever committed an actual crime. You told the story of my first wife. We met in college, spent fifteen years together and had kids. She got infested with feminism and did exactly what you describe. She got a degree while I supported us. We had kids and all of a sudden I was worthless. I didn't know sh*t, all I did was useless and was not allowed to raise the boys. She stopped getting physical and a year later she wanted to leave. She moved 80 miles away to a city because she knew I loathes cities and tried to ruin me while simultaneously complaining about me not being a present parent and withholding ny sons fron seeing me. Fast forward ten years and ny eldest son started misbehaving(behaviors I told her would come) because of lack of boundaries from her side and NOW she wants me to raise him but not my way. Her way still. I arrranged for him to live with me, fixed a place in the local school but that was not an option to her so she refused it and the problems continued. Now she still blames me for him barely finishing school though he's a smart kid. Accountability from her side? None. In the mean time she cohabited with a guy she met a few years after our divorce but he left due to her treating him the same way. My next gf, with whom I cohabited, left after five years together, on a whim. One day she told me "I love you so much, do you know that?" and a week later she wanted to split up. I still don't know why. My third gf/second wife tried to cheat six months after our wedding and I found ut by pure luck. Later I found out she'd been cheating on me during most of our relationship and she'd also started to taking hard drugs during which time she was DUI while having our toddler son in the car with her., Yes, he's mine, I've tested him. And then women wonder why men walk away? Sheesh.
The amount of stories I hear just like this are crazy. Finding a good woman is like finding a needle in a needle stack. Just do the best you can with your kids. That's all you can do.

You're completely right. Most men are becoming more independent towards the system, and I'm one of them. I'm 60 years old and living in a van in Vancouver Bc Canada. I've been living in a van by choice. I don't see myself as a homeless person. My van is my home. What's great about living in a van is that I only have to work two days a week. I was getting tired of this rat race. Now, I enjoy life more than ever. I'm very cheap. Cook my own food. Make my own coffee. Never go to the restaurant or Tim Hortons. Making my own food and coffee saves me a lot of money. Next year, I plan on taking four months out of the winter and going to live in Arizona. So, I'll work around 65 days a year and have 300 days off. I don't have a problem with that.

@GabsareSarg I have a dometic cassette toilet. I pee in 1 gal jugs. The way to do the dishes is with baby wipes. And rinse with a spray bottle. For watet, two five gal jugs. Lasts me two weeks. I shower at the gym.

I'm married to the same woman for the last 28 years as our son and daughter twins are now 23 years old as we sent them both off to the Navy so they have some skin in the game to pay for their college and to learn about life right out of HS as we didn't do the traditional college upon HS graduation for our kids. A year ago my daughter was choosing colleges to attend as she chose a really really expensive college down in Florida right on the beach as she was completely dead set on going to that particular college as we couldn't sway her choice. Was going to temporarily move to a new state to help my brother renovate his new house. You're right. I'm 62, widowed, retired, financially secure, and living in what I consider to be paradise. I went to public school in the 90’s. We had a little head puncher in elementary school and I got a pass on wrestling him to the ground until we got the new principal the last year and we were introduced to 0 tolerance policies. After that it was 5 day suspensions for everyone involved regardless of circumstances or intent. Guys still became friends after fights.

I'm 64 now. Married and divorced twice. When I was a young boy I was told my life would be roughly as follows: 0 - 10yrs as a child, 10 - 20yrs to learn and grow, 20 - 50yrs create a family and support it by working on a career, 50 - 70yrs retire and become grandparent to support and advise, 70 + yrs.. die .. it was simple and easy to understand when i was 15 yrs.. I lived through the period when everything was changed and ripped apart by academics and activists to turn what we once taught our children into incomprehensible mush 😢

I worked super hard when I was younger, worked my way through college with no student loans, bought myself a condo at 22 figuring at some point I'd sell it and put the proceeds towards a house for a family, got a six figure job, stayed active going to the gym over the years, etc etc.
In the end, I'm 40 now, net worth closing in on 2 million, debt free, and the dating prospects are lots of chubby single moms that still think they're 10s and "girl bosses," many of whom which, at least from my personal experience, are swimming in student loan and credit card debt and the mental baggage of spending the last 15-20 years of their life thinking it was empowering to sleep around.
I wouldn't say there is no reason for men to be better. I have a rather comfortable life now even though I'm single, and had I not worked as hard early on in life, I'd still be single, I'd just be broke to go along with it. The thing that bugs me though is that being more successful means you get to pay more in taxes means you are forced to support a degenerate system the government subsidizes, where as while being forced to do that, if I want my best odds at finding a loyal wife and having a traditional family structure I have to move abroad for it, which is what I plan on doing in a couple more years. Kind of stinks I just couldn't find someone 15 years ago, but at this point taking my wealth and enjoying life abroad where the cost of living is 1/2 to 1/3 of what it is here and I can easily find a partner 10-15 years younger, I'll take that over what American women offer any day.

IKR? When I was in college, the "driven" ones I knew could not have cared less about dating, men and women alike. I still remember the pre-med crowd in particular, with the pre-law group a distant second. One of the pre-med girls would literally fall into tears if she got a "B" on anything. One of the guys (a 4.0 student, BTW) was under so much self-induced pressure that when he did go out partying, he pulled ALL the stops. Frankly, I was pleasantly surprised that they graduated without ending up on a psych ward and drug rehab (let alone the morgue) in the process.
I'm not interested in dating because no one seems to take it seriously anymore. It's like it's just some kind of game.

I'm one of those men who, by most every metric would be considered a total and complete loser. It is harder to break into the bare minimum than ever and there is no reward for putting in any effort. I see men who worked harder than i ever did, who made every right choice and lived good, upstanding lives being destroyed and ruined by a system that hates and despises them. There isn't a single benefit to hard work anymore. I'm scared for what will happen to me in the future but i know men who made all the 'right moves' have ended up in an even worse place than me without having ever committed an actual crime. I enjoy and appreciate what little i have left, i wouldn't want to risk it all or throw it away on people who despise every fiber of my being just because i EXIST.

You told the story of my first wife. We met in college, spent fifteen years together and had kids. She got infested with feminism and did exactly what you describe. She got a degree while I supported us. We had kids and all of a sudden I was worthless. I didn't know sh*t, all I did was useless and was not allowed to raise the boys. She stopped getting physical and a year later she wanted to leave. She moved 80 miles away to a city because she knew I loathes cities and tried to ruin me while simultaneously complaining about me not being a present parent and withholding ny sons fron seeing me. Fast forward ten years and ny eldest son started misbehaving(behaviors I told her would come) because of lack of boundaries from her side and NOW she wants me to raise him but not my way. Her way still.
I arrranged for him to live with me, fixed a place in the local school but that was not an option to her so she refused it and the problems continued. Now she still blames me for him barely finishing school though he's a smart kid. Accountability from her side? None.
In the mean time she cohabited with a guy she met a few years after our divorce but he left due to her treating him the same way.
My next gf, with whom I cohabited, left after five years together, on a whim. One day she told me "I love you so much, do you know that?" and a week later she wanted to split up. I still don't know why.
My third gf/second wife tried to cheat six months after our wedding and I found ut by pure luck. Later I found out she'd been cheating on me during most of our relationship and she'd also started to taking hard drugs during which time she was DUI while having our toddler son in the car with her., Yes, he's mine, I've tested him.
And then women wonder why men walk away? Sheesh.

I'd say this is because it's not an issue of who prepares the kid, but which kids are being prepared. As a man, I can confirm: I have been prepared constantly for relationships, all through childhood, and continued pursuing the skills to maintain one as an adult. I've grown, I've learned, and I've matured.
Then along come these women you keep showcasing, who clearly have not. Fact is, while everyone was busy teaching and educating the boys how to treat a woman, no one's been teaching and educating women how to treat a man. And there lies the problem.

You're completely right. Most men are becoming more independent towards the system, and I'm one of them. I'm 60 years old and living in a van in Vancouver Bc Canada. I've been living in a van by choice. I don't see myself as a homeless person. My van is my home. What's great about living in a van is that I only have to work two days a week. I was getting tired of this rat race. Now, I enjoy life more than ever. I'm very cheap. Cook my own food. Make my own coffee. Never go to the restaurant or Tim Hortons. Making my own food and coffee saves me a lot of money. Next year, I plan on taking four months out of the winter and going to live in Arizona. So, I'll work around 65 days a year and have 300 days off. I don't have a problem with that.
Bugs on that ascetic nomad lifestyle, respect. It's not for everyone, but it'll make you a vastly more interesting person.

@GabsareSarg I have a dometic cassette toilet. I pee in 1 gal jugs. The way to do the dishes is with baby wipes. And rinse with a spray bottle. For watet, two five gal jugs. Lasts me two weeks. I shower at the gym.

I have my wife who I started dating when she was 17 and I have molded her from then to now to hate feminism and despise the sisterhood. She hates most women now (unintentional side effect) due to her seeing clearly how women treat men. She even recently said how she hates how female centric most of my family is. First wife ran off with a boyfriend. Left our child with me. I raised our child, she's done well in life. Second wife decided to blackmail me with threats of a Restraining Order if I didn't do what she said. I ghosted her completely, and drew out the divorce, until she only got payment for her attorney out of me. I have been married to a woman from Spain, raised in a tradfam, for 23 years. She's a real, supportive wife. If she goes before I do, she will not be replaced. I don't know any man over 35 who wants to get married. I learned to listen to my gut, in the military. Men over 30 or so often have that same gut feeling- pain is a patient teacher. If a woman feels bad in my gut, I put on my harmless Beta male mask, and escape and evade out of the area of operations. Also, women in their late 20's, and 30's, don't understand that their potential partner men have either been badly burned in divorce, or seen buddies burned badly. There is a reason marriage is at its lowest rate in the USA, since the census measured this, in the later 1800's. Women live in a visual world of Sex & The City, soap operas, romance movies, romance novels- which are as unreal as most p*rn is for men. If you needed to find an address in, say, Seattle, you would not use a roadmap of NY City- yet women use those extremely unrealistic dramas, as a roadmap to a committed LTR. It doesn't work. And then they blame men- who have yet another reason, now, to avoid them.

Today it is broadly acknowledged that young woman of this age are burning with passion, but we tell them it would be disastrous for them to marry. I'm married to the same woman for the last 28 years as our son and daughter twins are now 23 years old as we sent them both off to the Navy so they have some skin in the game to pay for their college and to learn about life right out of HS as we didn't do the traditional college upon HS graduation for our kids. A year ago my daughter was choosing colleges to attend as she chose a really really expensive college down in Florida right on the beach as she was completely dead set on going to that particular college as we couldn't sway her choice. So as I pressed her on her college choice she finally admitted to me her reasoning for that choice, "it's a really expensive college so any man that is attending there must come from money" and as her dad I was appalled as I didn't raise her like that, but somewhere along the way she learned this sh!t. No wonder young men today are checking out of relationships.
