Well eating cold after hot surley afects your tongue but milk helps water not so much juices like sprite fanta or coke are bad since the fizzines makes your tongue hurt but the best way is too hold your tongue under cold water continuosly and it will work better than milk Also the snesationf of burning is just the brain so dont worry about harming your mouth since the temperature doesnt rise
