tbh not seeing any news for this game for years is quite concerning, but i still hope sod3 will be worth the wait
I definitely want the multiplayer to be better, that's what caused my interest to fizzle out quickly.

I realy think were going to see a gears of war cover system. Beneficial for npc fights and pvp fights. I would be interested to see snowrunner esque terrain and vehicle interaction, with a semi destructicble enviromeant, be crazy to have a jug smash through house chasing your ass down.

Brother, you right about how real it feels to lose a survivor. When I first lost a survivor I was distraught. I didn’t feel like playing no more.
It wasn’t even the survivor I was playing, it was the one I had as a follower. After that I mostly preferr to go solo on deadly missions
they should make a seperate trailer on the survival aspect. like taking bases , building, looting to upgrade houses. palworld already build the momentum with Survival genre. they should market this game like that anywayThis game is underrated !
2:15 The game is good don't get me wrong, but the point you made that it gets really emotional when losing a party member, I disagree with you. The game was designed in a very crengy way when that happened, my characters used to make fun of dying or when I issue the command of execution! It was not serious at all and lost all the meaning of it to be a serious survival game!
I mean the they were basically an indi studio when they made the second game, Microsoft bought them in the middle of development

My biggest concern is that the game will play better than SoD 2 but will be bogged down with identity politics, which I'm pretty sure everyone is so tired of seeing in everything.

Honestly not to be negative but I highly doubt it.
Yeeeah Project Zomboid isn’t the greatest game to look at but its mechanics are far superior than ANYTHING else…so there’s a high bar to compete with.
I played it before, had fun then got bored. Good game tho
PZ is the best zombie game. Specially if you play on a pvp multiplayer server. All the interactions you ever wanted in dayz but never happens due to kos happends.

@@jahmyWell being that the second state of decay had pride flags in game and they have pride merch.... Doesn't take much to realize what direction they're going to go.
It will never be as good of a zombie game as Project Zomboid by default
But it could be a more polished version of the first game i'd love that

@@jahmy I suppose but I only say that because Zomboid is simply a more realistic game. But then again simulator is just one genre, so what can truly be called the best zombie game?
