I haven't seen or thought about this show in 30 years and then a thought pops in your head out of nowhere and you youtube that to see if its real. I love the internet
Jason Wood We are lucky some programs survived. To me shows like Friendly Giant, All About You , Math Patrol, Wind In The Willows, Read All About It, etc taught kids a lot more than what they watched in the 90s and 2000s.
HAHAHA! That was totally me getting ready for school when I was young. I learned a lot from TVOntario as a kid. xD I also remember watching the original French version, Colargol, on TFO in Ottawa, too.
Hmmm, didn't know Sony put this out on home video.... jeremy 01 02 a morning in pretty wood and flying bear They often had a lot of unusual tapes of things back then like the Spanish cartoon classic "Around the World with Willy Fog" or this unusual Japanese anime a pal of mine was obsessive about watching on the cable channel CBN called "Honey Honey". letsanime.blogspot.com/2009/10/honey-honeys-wonderful-adventures.html
"We come to school because it is fun/And there's always lots to be done" LOL Poor Jeremy, he comes across as almost retarded. When I first saw this I was about 4. I got the impression that if I got a simple math question wrong at school, I would be expelled!
Thank you for posting this video! : ) Jeremy brings back so much memories as I remember watching this show when it was broadcasted back in the mid 1970s on TV Ontario.
Yes thanks soooo much for posting this! I woke up with part of the theme song in my head. I used to watch this show in the late '70s with my brother. At times I got a little creeped out but it was good to watch. We didn't have the choices like kids do today!
This is much better than the "Barnaby" version of Jeremy/Colargol that was shown in the UK. They only did a separate redubbing in the UK because the name Jeremy was already used for a bear who was a breakfast cereal mascot - similar to how Top Cat had to be called Boss Cat when the series was first shown in the UK, because there was a cat food called Top Cat.

HOLY SHIT...I would have NEVER remembered this. WOW thanks.
I'm glad at least some of these episodes still exist. I wonder how many of them remain? Love that magic suitcase!!

Woody Woody, same here. That magic suitcase was magnificent! It was always my favorite part of the show.
poor Jeremy having a hard time at school like me
I understand why his parents catapult him... them to school.
They're too ashamed to leave him at orphanage.😂
i used to love this show! thx for putting it up.
Thank you for sharing. I loved this show. I'm not even sure why. It's just atmospheric somehow
From Ontario, this is not the way it looked in my minds eye! When he fell underwater I could not go to school for three days!
Same here! I used to watch both versions here in Ottawa also. There was always that option.

Our kids programming may have been hokey, but at least it wasn't patently annoying like what's on Treehouse
8:52 he thinks 2 times 2 becomes 5? Wrong. 4. Is he so stupid?
Severus Jake He is polish.
You mean he is foolish.
Severus Jake Hey bears can't add or subtract even sing or talk lol

Okay, I seriously started feeling sad for him when he started to cry in front of the other kids.
Finally, Jeremy is free! Thanks for posting!

Poor little guy.
Well, it's a pre-schooler thing, I was watching that sort of stuff on Nickelodeon 30 years ago.
Jeremy was the first to tweet.
