I live in Alberta and this is literally just our backyard, lol. It's nice to see people so amazed by it and enjoying. We have a tendency to take it for granted and don't realize how great we have it.
Yes, it is very safe. Just keep in mind if you see wild animals, don't try to approach them or feed them. Also pay attention to weather conditions and/or avalanche conditions, if you go out while there is an advisory not to you can get stranded. Friends of mine went on a hiking trip in the mountains and got trapped by a surprise snow storm and search and recuse had to find them and take them out by helicopter.
Major cities have good public transportation, buses and trains and what not. Where Goblin was shot in Quebec City a lot looks to be shot mostly in Old City there. I've been there and it's very pretty, nice place to just walk around and enjoy the sites. You can also pay to be taken around in a horse drawn carriage through the Old City.
They definitely should come back in Summer time. It is soooooo amazing during that time, the weather are perfect and worth every cent to spend in Banff. I am so proud living here in Alberta 😍😄😊
So far, Pop Pop and B.B tours are my favs! Not only they showed amazing part of country also the chemistry of them 😊

*this is like the weirdest thing to see because i've lived in banff for 5 years and seeing them visit all these places makes me feel weird but proud because it's nice to see some stuff from alberta being appreciated HHHH*

this is soooo beautiful. dasom soyu's look fun but this is more my style. i wouldn't move on from the spot for a whole day. probably spent from sunrise to sunset just looking at the nature.
I've been to Banff several times bc it's only one hour and a half away from calgary but I've never been to that restaurant before. I should definitely give it a try next time 😳
I love my city!! I go almost every weekend to go hiking in Kananaskis, Canmore, and Banff. So many amazing trails that no one ever shows, so its better to go with a local. Also, the mountains are so different during all 4 seasons, you truly get a different experinece everytime you go.
I'm going back to Banff in May. That would be my second time. And I'm still excited. I love that place.

Someone should go to Bulgaria in Europe because it's cheap and their is beautiful places to visit and the food is amazing and people there are friendly.

I think they they mean that other Canadians, rather than just tourists, go to Calgary to not have to pay the extra provincial tax; Since Alberta only has GST. Only someone who lives near the border would bother enough to do that (even then, definitely not all the way to Calgary) but I am pretty sure that's what they mean.
