@@detmaz A) Maybe so that the player doesn't get hate / harassed due to people witch-hunting their accounts and harassing them about the fact that they faked a speedrun... That's actually an EXTREMELY common thing to do, hiding people's names.

First time I played Minecraft I spawned into a village. Made a nether portal,went to the nether and a few blocks near me was a fortress. At the time I didn't know about speed runs or anything , but I'm pretty sure it would've been a record if someone with basic knowledge on the game would've played it.
I had a nether portal pop up IN a nether fortress
I would love to see someone do an amazing speedrun with real legit tactics and skills, and then when they get to the end they craft a rocket launcher or something and nuke the dragon. That would leave the moderators very confused
