I’ve had a slipped disc and I think this was partly triggered by sitting badly at the wheel since I started pottery 18 months before. The advice you’ve given today has been amazing and putting your tips into practice will allow me a long life as a potter. Thank you.
Bought a small shimpo wheel for 70 bucks and got some 20 dollar clay at hobby lobby. I have always wanted to try my hands at pottery. Have not made anything, since i knew i was set up wrong. Wheel was on ground and me bent over to much , so thanks for the tip. Will subscribe and follow

Many people say the wheelhead should be at or just below your navel. Is that what you have found?
