Since I found it many years ago, this is my favorite playlist. I listened to it on the way to school, now on the way to work, and it always makes any trip from where I live to Mexico City incredible.
I remember when I broke up with my fiance in 2020, and found out she lived along my route to work and back. On the drives back home late at night on empty roads, I'd play this playlist and I'd miss her, with hopes to see her again one day. But the music also made me feel hopeful and truly free. Especially with the first song, I felt like anything was possible despite the pain. Fast forward to today, I'm still single but by choice and loving it. Couldn't have it any other way!
This mix played the track to a part of my life that I knew was coming. A time of quiet. Loneliness. Change..... Thank you for making it. For what it's worth, it brought me a little peace and acceptance of things as they are.
