Bullets flying everywhere, explosions, smoke, destroyed environments, and so on. It feels like you're really there fighting alongside other real soldiers which are shouting out if there's ammo, healthpacks, or enemies. Now let's take that into a ww2 setting, but from all the bullets, explosives, etc let's add screaming women to add to it! Wait what, there's no women in ww2?Let's add it anyways. Let's also give them silly costumes! It really runs the realism of the atmosphere that battlefield always gives off. Especially when it's a women that weights less than 100 pounds running around in a clown costume while aslo being half cyborg
I think the reason that this update is so fun is because of the vehicles. It’s not anything like the German’s and the Brits. In the new maps both teams have vehicles that are to a high existent equal. The Sherman tank has it differences to the T97 but they are both medium tanks, there is not a heavy tank that can outgun and armor them, no light tank that can outmaneuver them. It is the same with the planes. Both teams have plane that are nearly identical to each other in the upgrade tree. What I’m trying to get to is that both forces are fighting with equal weapons. This makes the game feel more like you won because of your skill and not because you had a better performing tank. It also makes the game more fun in a way for me. I’d rather have one vehicle that has a complicated skill tree that can cover three different areas of combat depending on what you chose then three different tanks with small skill trees that specialize in one thing. This makes it easier because you can grind on vehicle and change it to be any tank you want. The long skill trees also make you vehicle feel a lot more personalized because you can taper it to play how your play style is. Sorry about how long this comment is I just really wanted to convey my opinion on the update

Honestly they nailed it. Imagine what this could have been if the game had more development time. Dice has the hype behind it and it seems they also gained confidence. Let’s hope this game can continue to move forward

Usually in these CLOSE RANGE situations, you want to see as much as your screen as possible with a small as scope as possible from blocking view of your target and or targets. Engaging multiple targets this CLOSE with a 10x zoom almost assured failure and a death. However, this a video game and most gamers have HORRBLE situation awareness and would rather sit in a mountain top 2miles plus out or in a building and wait for enemy to walk by.

Running 3x zooms on assaul rifles is usually a good choice in Battlefield. Since you can jump from cqc to midrange or long range combat
