There is actually one hidden upside of Jack. He gets a much larger benefit from +% enemies utems. On a normal character, Gentle Alien will make you go from 100% to 105% enemies, so you basically get 5% more materials. On Jack, you go from 25% to 30% enemies, so you get 20% more materials. With 10 Gentle Aliens and 5 mice, a normal character goes from 100% to 200% enemies, or 2x income from enemies. Jack goes from 25% to 125% enemies, or 5x income from enemies. That is Jack's upside.
Late game it will be a pain in the butttttt but well gonna try him soon and see if i can manage a good god run on him abusing this mechanic actualy. We womt know until we try
@@durandian I actually just learned about another hidden upside to Jack, and it relates to a mostly ignorable mechanic, material drop rate. On most characters, enemies have a 100% chance to drop materials for the first 4 waves, then wave 5 onward the chance is decreased by 1.5% times the wave number, so wave 5 is 92.5%, wave 6 is 91%, 7 is 89.5%, all the way down to the minimum of 50%. Divide this number by 2 for characters that have reduced materials from enemies. This decay is why relying on materials from enemies just doesn't work in endless mode. Jack, however, comes with an unlisted +200% material drop chance from enemies, alongside the 3x materials dropped from enemies. This means that enemies will have a 100% chance to drop materies for over 130 waves! This might mean that Metal Detectors could actually be the best economy item for Jack, instead of the usual Hunting Trophies. Pretty interesting stuff.
@Tom-vx7qh yeah Metal detectors are the best for him . Or at least the most efficient source of economy for him. Because every mob drops like 10 coins sometimes or more. If u can hit 10 metal detectors early on him qith 100% mobs . Not it even 100% . U are gonna get stupid rich
