When you think about it, the dog that stopped at the house caused Beth to die. If it hadn’t been there, Daryl wouldn’t have let the zombies overrun the funeral home because there was no dog so he would’ve known that walkers were at the door which would’ve let him have preparation time to get himself and Beth out of there which wouldn’t have caused Beth to leave in the car without Daryl, which wouldn’t have made her vulnerable to walkers, had she not taken the car. Which also wouldn’t have let her meet Dawn, and that is what caused her death. Only down side is we wouldn’t have met Noah.

People wanted them to be a couple, but they of course never were. But Daryl straight up revealed he had feelings for her with a look and Beth responded with a pause and said "oh". That was a realization there being a more than platonic connection between them, at least from Daryl's side. Also before that he was super awkward about answering at all. And maybe Daryl isn't fully aware of what his feelings are. But Beth recognizes it as something she would have that kind of response to. You don't have to like it. I understand people feeling weird about the age difference. There's just no way my brother and I are having a moment like that. Also a bunch of people who worked on the show basically confirmed in a covert way that there was something more developing between them.

I'm just saying so many different people involved to with the show from the showrunner to two of the directors and writers and the actors themselves as well as even different actors have all alluded to it being kind of romantic. But it's Daryl. And it's under the surface. And it is controversial for many people. So they don't really outright say it (but also they kinda do?) There's so much romantic subtext and imagery and touching and eye contact and honestly chemistry between the actors. But even if I can clearly see it that way, I can understand how maybe the signs are a little too subtle for a lot of other people. Or maybe they have biases. Why would there be so much talk from people on the show about it being romantic? She see's who he is she knows him and trusts him implicitly. she has since the day he held Judith, none of his defence mechanism work on her. All his grunts and shrugs. didn’t deter her, he was baffled 😮and intoxicated🥴🤒just by her existence,the beauty and hope she Represented.He was completely mystified😵💫by her. Beth and Daryl are Beauty and the Beast a tale as old as time when you fall in love in the most unexpected of ways and when you least expect it. The scene on the funeral home where she sings to him and he told her to keep playing. was pretty similar to Belle reading to Beast and him asking to read again, with beast having the same struggle as Daryl being cursed he never got the chance to mentally develop properly, hence why all the tantrums and angry outburst. They were as close to a fairytale as walking dead was ever gonna get. They were Rapunzel and Flynn AT LAST I SEE THE LIGHT. 🎇 The story of them in the woods was pretty identical she was doe eyes bright hopeful positive light 💡 that kept pulling him out of the darkness and pushing him forward. And he was the criminal with the shameful past exciting without purpose. Who took her from her tower and showed her she was strong and capable all along.🥺

When you think about it, the dog that stopped at the house caused Beth to die. If it hadn’t been there, Daryl wouldn’t have let the zombies overrun the funeral home because there was no dog so he would’ve known that walkers were at the door which would’ve let him have preparation time to get himself and Beth out of there which wouldn’t have caused Beth to leave in the car without Daryl, which wouldn’t have made her vulnerable to walkers, had she not taken the car. Which also wouldn’t have let her meet Dawn, and that is what caused her death. Only down side is we wouldn’t have met Noah.

People wanted them to be a couple, but they of course never were. But Daryl straight up revealed he had feelings for her with a look and Beth responded with a pause and said "oh". That was a realization there being a more than platonic connection between them, at least from Daryl's side. Also before that he was super awkward about answering at all. And maybe Daryl isn't fully aware of what his feelings are. But Beth recognizes it as something she would have that kind of response to.

I'm just saying so many different people involved to with the show from the showrunner to two of the directors and writers and the actors themselves as well as even different actors have all alluded to it being kind of romantic. But it's Daryl. And it's under the surface. And it is controversial for many people. So they don't really outright say it (but also they kinda do?) There's so much romantic subtext and imagery and touching and eye contact and honestly chemistry between the actors. But even if I can clearly see it that way, I can understand how maybe the signs are a little too subtle for a lot of other people. Or maybe they have biases. Why would there be so much talk from people on the show about it being romantic? And even if somehow it's only their interpretation and not what is true in the actual script, that means it's not crazy to see them that way. Because people do see them that way
