I think a lot of us are feeling this way at the moment - it is such a huge risk being self employed, especially in the last few years. All the time you can pursue the dream, go out and do it my friend, for all those who haven't been able to
Great video! Stumbled upon this via the RUclips algorithm (thanks RUclips)! Congrats on taking the leap into freelancing, and wishing you all the best on your path. It’s not easy, but the first couple of years are the hardest and the reward is so worth it. There are moments now - nearly ten years after making them leap - that I can’t believe how lucky I am and how much flexibility I have; but it takes a lot of work to get off the ground, and nearly as much work to keep aloft. Also, I respect you pointing out the advantages you have that make this possible for you. It’s true that you have some advantages others may not have, but ultimately I think the important thing is that you are aware of these and that you take advantage of them! There are so many other people out there who don’t appreciate the opportunities they have until it’s too late to take advantage of them. Wishing you all the best, and subbed to see where you go from here!
I needed to hear this. I feel exactly the same way. Questioning where I'm going what should I do where should I work, it is hard! I really want to risk it but it's hard not panicking its the wrong decision. It's encouraging to hear I'm not alone in feeling this way. Love your work, you're keeping me inspired!
I'm happy the video encouraged you, you’re definitely not alone and I’m sure there’s many more that can relate! I think if you have a strategy, see the potential in what you’re doing, and your circumstances allow you to take the risk at this moment in time, then stick with it, at least for a while longer.
