I personally don't consider people I just met friends. Friends I have are either childhood friends or I known for years. This lifestyle is more suited for introverts, ppl that enjoy their alone time.

Yosemite is always stunning, I’m in Colorado and never tire of the Majestic Rockies. It is told by Native Americans that the opposite side of Half Dome at the right time of day you can see the face of a Native American woman, there is a story behind this.
As a Canadian I have done lots of winter camping. It may sound counter intuitive. But in my experience it is best to sleep as close to naked as you can in your sleeping bag. The heat your body generates will be reflected back around you. If you wear tight or clothes you will actually feel colder.
I have been watching you for a long time and I have seen you on your ups and downs. But I have never seen you with a permanent smile the whole time. You should take that as a hint, that you found your happy place

Aw, Yosemite! This video was WONDERFUL! It's been 1.5 years since I've been there. It was Spring, and the waterfall flow was turned up to 11! This video made me so happy! Such beautiful shots, Alyssa! I almost went there 2 weeks ago, but went to Santa Cruz instead. Funnily enough, I bought a tent right before I moved into my car -- and the only place I ever set up that tent was Camp 4 :) I rate tent camping --- 6 out of 10, cuz my car is sooo cozy. I'm so grateful you shared your "grand ole time!"
They say Yosemite has negative ions (which have a positive effect) and that you will always find love even if it is for yourself. Yosemite is magical. :)

Hi Alyssa from New Zealand, we are heading into Summer here if you want to visit. On my USA trip I really enjoyed Yosemite too, so many amazing views. Guess you know about those wee heaters ( and cookers) and their Carbon monoxide by-products. Always use with plenty of ventilation, you can just get drowsy and not wake up. It happened to two park rangers here during cold weather. Love watching your videos and travels :)
