I kind of feel like the creature was originally preparing like a hut or somewhere to bed down using the cabin walls as a way to make a lean to. As if the both of them encountered each other by chance but maybe after discovering a young female alone in the woods the creatures intentions changed putting her in alot of danger. Welcome back Nance, glad you are feeling better, you sound as great as ever, as I've said before, listening to your narration of these stories is a highlight of my week, keep up the fantastic work and take care, thanks, D.J. PS: It certainly sounds like something a Squatch would do to keep/get someone out of an area that it has claimed as its own for a few years without seeing a human, I do believe that they are most curious and perhaps spiteful when infringed upon by us, just sayin'...
Sounds like, it thought it was helping make your nest more comfortable. Might be a mating thing the males do. The scratching sounds, were probably the tree branches.
Hi Nance, it's me a new member of the Sass Squad hehe I just love that 💖 Thank you! But I just wanted to tell you what I'm doing so you don't think I'm crazy "well we are all a little crazy aren't we bahahaha" anyway I just love the way you tell these amazing encounters. So since I have been neglected of the knowledge of Buckeye Bigfoot for so long, there is a lot of videos that I haven't seen so as a newbie I'm playing catch-up, well we'll just say that, but we really know what it is Shhhh ( I'm addicted) hehehe. So the reason for this message is to explain what I have to do, I don't want you to think I'm being rude if I leave a one word comment "l want you to know that I truly love each and everyone and you do an amazing job but I feel you know that I love this channel already.. So on with why I don't just hit the "like" and move on. I leave comments on all of them even the ones from a year ago I tried to just "like" some of them and move on with my binge watchin but it seems if I don't leave a comment my "like" doesn't stick ("weird") and it shows up again in my feeds I think that's what it's called and I'll have to "like" it again, but if I leave a comment then they don't show up again in my feeds for suggested videos and I get all the videos I haven't seen yet. If I leave a comment the "like" stays so if I do go back on that video it shows I "liked" it but if I don't comment the "like" doesn't show so I'll have to watch again not like it's a problem because I love hearing them but I'm trying to hear them all lol. Oy-vay I hope this wasn't to long eek lol 😆. I just didn't want you to think I was tryin to get attention or something like that. GOD BLESS YOU! PLEASE STAY SAFE AND HEALTHY! 🤗 HUGS 🤗 Sorry this comment was so long I didn't know how to explain it shorter lol....
Hi Nance, because Bigfoots are so close in human behavior. It doesn't surprise me that maybe he was trying to rub his scent on the cabin walls outside, perhaps marking his territory. Or maybe he was just trying to get a better look at her and flush her out of the cabin. But whatever the case is, the bigfoot was definitely curious about her. And I've heard through several Bigfoot stories, that they're usually attracted to young women, or women period. So maybe he was trying to get better acquainted I guess. I don't think the Bigfoots understand how intimidating they must appear to us with their size, and all that hair that covering them from head to toe. In the story when Bigfoot was stacking all those branches against the cabin wall on the outside... perhaps he was just trying to bed down for the night, taking comfort that there was a single female human being on the inside of the cabin. I would think that they get lonely as well, just like humans do. But I can see how she would be frightened by what Bigfoot had done those couple of nights outside the cabin while she was trying to sleep. And also by the sight of him, when he was lifting that branch and slapping the ground with it. There's really no telling what Bigfoot's intention was. All I know is that (and speaking from experience) if Bigfoot wanted to really harm her. He could have easily done it! Bigfoot not only has that stealth way about him, he has the speed and the strength unlike any large species ever known. Plus he demonstrates intelligence as well. Sometimes I can't help but think, the Bigfoots are not only curious about humans, but they like to mess with us a little bit, just to see what we'll do. That has crossed my mind from time to time. However, you can never be too sure or careful of what the Bigfoots going to do. So it's a good idea to exercise caution always! after all they are wild, and an unknown species. And I'm glad the young lady got out of there okay! thanks Nancy again for a fabulous story! Callie from California
Great stories as always NanceI think I heard this someone in your marathons before or either I've already just listen to it through your regular stories but thanks for what you do and I always know to give a thumbs up as soon as the story starts because I've never been disappointed
That Bigfoot was courting you! Making your cabin into a "Breeding Hut" It was wanting you as It's mate. It was going to be slapping its front side into your back side. A .38 is not going to stop a Bigfoot. It's a good thing you got out of there or you would have been "Wife of Bigfoot". If you had escaped with it's child you would be FAMOUS!!! LOL.
Hi Ms. Nance! So glad to hear that you are feeling better. I've never heard of a Bigfoot doing stuff like that with the branches leaned up against the cabin. That's just weird!! AND the slapping of the branch while she was starring at him on the trail. I have no clue as to what he was doing. In any event, I would have been just as terrified as she was!! I'm really glad that the BIGFOOT didn't go ballistic when she shot at him and attack her!!! Can't wait until next weekend... IT'S GONNA BE ABSOFREAKINLUTLEY AWESOME!!! Continue to get better MS. SASSYSQUACH ❣️
Thanks Nance for sharing all of these Bigfoot encounters with us. They put a little suspense in my life an interest and something I never thought I would even look at. It is good to know what the truth is though in case any of us ever end up having to live out in the wilderness somewhere for any reason. I have heard that and Other Stories the Bigfoot cover up their tracks sometimes. That doesn't surprise me they're highly intelligent, and May have a special language between themselves. There is a man named Scott Nelson he was a linguist and he has talked on the UFO hub quite a few times. So this creature can be quite nefarious, or sometimes wonderful. They have saved a lot of lines at different times in our history here in America, and I would imagine abroad as well. I've heard of them covering up their trap their Trail on other people's RUclips channels. There's also a man named Mike Patterson, that is done quite a bit of work with Bigfoot and he has recorded them having a dialogue him and a young male teenage too big fit. His channel is called Sasquatch Ontario Oh, and you might find his work quite interesting. As he records this young juvenile named, Nephatia , and himself having many conversations. Well God bless and I'm sure listening to your stories thank you so much Nance.
Creepy scary and freaky! I felt the terror as it surrounded, wait, no. It was more like it had the place besieged! That's a word I learned in an 8th grade British history class when there was just raw bloodshed waiting around every strategic corner in the middle ages.
Absolutely, whole trees knocked over. I've also had huge chunks of winter water soaked logs thrown, rocks, fair sized sticks and pine cones, all thrown in my direction. But, I've NEVER been hit.✌👣👣👣P.S. I don't if you've sent it yet, I know you have been ill, but if you have, I haven't received the mug. Glad you are better !😊
I live in nor cal which is a heavily Forrested area. Even though I live in a neighborhood at the edge of town we have a lot of redwood, oak, pine, maple even citrus trees throughout our area. Bear is not uncommon around these parts. I don't ever go outside alone at night because the wild animal population come out of the woodwork and it's scary and unsafe. I'd never stay alone in a cabin in the woods, anything could happen.. at least she had a gun..brave gal for sure..not me..lol..
Ok Has anyone ever wondered if the branches were placed there as REPAIRS since this was an older construction cabin? And while I can fully understand being afraid, small cal. weapons are NOT going to do anything but distract someone of this size and build. Ive seen the comments here about how a gun can kill anything living if the gun is big enough and LAUGHED so hard, I had to come back the next day to pen this comment. Please realize THIS: While i feel there IS a point in the males life when they leave their family unit to search for a mate that is not in their direct blood line, I do not feel that they travel ALONE for very long, if in deed at all. If you see ONE alone this is a scout. In fact if you SEE one in FRONT of you at the 12 o'clock position, look directly BEHIND where you see them, as well as off to your left and right because they travel and hunt in FAMILY GROUPS, and are way better at it then even the best of us. Because while we go out there and do it once in a while, THEY live it everyday all day. They can travel larger distances then we can and thru areas we would avoid AND they can do it faster. How often have you heard here that at FIRST sounds were coming from far off then suddenly the same sounds were only a few feet away IF that. And no one had seen or heard anything moving?
I ran all the woods in Central and southern Ohio growing up,alnight fishing, hunting, etc and never had a sighting but I do remember hearing what sounded like someone hammering or chopping wood on accasion.
@@smileyface8832 Interesting that when someone suggested ra.pe in the comment just above, your response is, " Oh my God. Yeah, now that you mention it," but when someone suggests a more innocent motive of trying to help her make her "nest" more stable & sturdy, your response is, "And how would you know? Hmm?" That says a lot more about you than it does about Sasquatch. Why didn't you answer the rapey comment with, "And how would you know? Hmm?"
That's the most sensible thing I've seen posted here. The suggestions that it's "courting" behavior are ridiculous. People have watched King Kong too many times & seen too many Bigfoot horror movies. Also, the suggestion that Bigfoot is all rapey toward human women is something from the dark side of the human psyche rather than from nature.
Thank you for saying, "would have" rather than "would of"! It's good to know that some people still know the English language & can write what they MEAN & not just write what they think something sounds like!
Glad you're not croaked. I was so sick last year, it felt worse than when I had meningitis. Wouldn't wish that on anyone. Came back two more times wtf? God bless good health. Thank you
I thought bigfoot was making his bed against the cabin and using the cabin as part of his makeshift bed. I've heard they make beds in trees and nest like things on the ground. Scary story thank you!
That’s very unusual behavior. Makes me wonder what the age of the beast was and if it knew what fire was too. Could it have been thinking of setting fire to the cabin? Don’t think I would ever go back into the woods if that had been me! That’s downright scary.
Judith Harp Sounds like it was a young male & was “covering” her up in a protective way to claim her as his mate. Putting his scent on the cabin also: Happy she left when she did: Seems like he was courting her.
@@patriciabowman8822 What makes people think a Sasquatch would have any interest in "courting" a female of another species? What makes you think it engages in any kind of courting behavior at all. Ya'll have been watching too many King Kong movies & too many giant Bigfoots from the '70s getting turned on by a teen girl movies.
Did she say 23 wow what I would give to be 23 once more I had gone through 24 years of bad marriage before I got my divorce because of the kids believe me don’t put yourself through the pain if I had it to do again I would had left and been happier and spent time together with my kids too
Just wonder who Paid the Taxes on the Property, in my state if property taxes are not paid in 4 years, it will be auctioned off at Courthouse- that is- if Local Lawyers allow the property to get to auction before they Buy it...
Sounds like it was a young male looking to court her. The stacking of the limbs around the cabin and scratching marks in it was his way of saying she is mine. She doesn't mention it but I bet it's smell was all over that cabin.
*Are you certain of this? Hey, come to think of it, that does make sense. When you try and think hard enough, to try to figure it out. But, it's kind of creepy in a way though.*
If the scent was so bad, she SURELY would have mentioned it in such a long, detailed recounting of the incident. Your theory doesn't make sense for an animal. Birds have a courting behavior, but most mammals do not. IDK of ANY primates with a mating ritual, except for maybe humans, but humans have such varying kinds of behavior,- from sexual assault to one night stands to marriage for life,- that it's hard to say we have any real mating rituals. The suggestion that Bigfoot is all rapey toward human women is something from the dark side of the human psyche rather than from nature. That your mind goes there says more about you than it does about Sasquatch behavior. Also, "courting" behavior is not meant to say, "She's mine!" In nature, males COURT females so the females will CHOOSE HIM over the other suiters. Courting is not "marking territory", or claiming ownership of a female! Quite the opposite. It's the attempt to attract a female.
The branches were used to erase the footprints. No doubt. That, or it was studying to be a landscape architect. What's with ALL the pine branches though? Some sort of crazy sasquatch fetish maybe. Who knows with these creatures. They are just flat-out strange.
Well when people go camping and want to do it the “wild way” they use pine branches as a roof or wall of their shelter. Sometimes people use them to hide things. Big Foot was probably doing one of these things.
Maybe the BIG FOOT was giving her wood for burning or for chinking!!! I would have stayed in the cabin for Eric, after I fired the gun a couple of times!!!!!
That's what I would have done, too. I would have fired once, waited a bit to see if he was coming, then fired a while later. There's no guarantee someone is home & within hearing distance of the shot, so I'd want to fire the gun sparingly, assuming I didn't have an endless supply of ammunition. But at time passed, I would have fired the gun twice each time. I would NOT have left the cabin on foot. I would have waited inside the cabin for Eric to come. Bigfoot didn't seem to be around during the day & he could have gotten into the cabin that first night, if he'd wanted to, so the cabin seems the safest place to be.
@@DonnaBrooks You've replied under every single comment. First off, I dont believe in the whole bigfoot thing anyway, I view these stories like creepypastas. But the reason so many ppl who do believe in bigfoot, believe that they'll sometimes interbreed with humans, is bc that actually seems to be part of the lore. According to all these ppl claiming to interact with bigfoot, there are some sasquatch that look almost entirely human. And they'll be living among normal sasquatch families that look like gorillas. It's also often rumored that feral humans travel with families of sasquatch. So the bigfoot that look human are supposedly a human-bigfoot hybrid species. There are also stories on youtube where men & women have both claimed they were temporarily abducted, & courted by sasquatch. Another thing, apes are patriarchal, that means the males battle, & whoever wins will get breeding rights over all the females. But if he puts on a big enough display then the other males might not even challenge him. So putting on a good performance is important. The majority of male apes display domance & strength to impress a female they're courting. It's supposed to scare off the males & woo the female. They'll get loud, & act aggressive, like ripping off limbs and striking the ground, this demonstration is supposed to get the females attention, & warn off males.
Cabin or tent which one will protect you from a GIANT SASQUATCH? Nothing would if the wanted to KILL you! Lights will help, but this person didn't have electricity! I would put ear plugs in and drink plenty of BEER. Then sleep! That's what I do camping. Put earplugs in my ears, and sleep. If something wanted to get me I didn't care at that time, because I couldn't hear anything!

My first thought was that her bitter, angry ex-husband was terrorizing her, based on what she had said about the divorce. He would know the location of the cabin. Men are crazier than animals. However, the fact that she saw the creature behind her on the trail is hard to explain since we know that costumes are not very convincing. Then again, people do imagine things when they are gripped by terror. Frankly, I would NOT have left the cabin to try to walk out of there. I might have fired a shot to signal alarm so the fellow who checked on her daily might come sooner, but since she'd not encountered the animal at the cabin during the day, I would have felt safer waiting inside the cabin for another person with a vehicle to take me out of there.
She didn't follow it. I've heard other stories about people claiming to have followed a Sasquatch, though, which didn't make sense, since they were so terrified when they saw him or her.
First I've heard of that behaviour. But like others? I agree it was perhaps nesting... For what reason in mind, though.. Is anyone's guess! Poor male was probably nagged by his mate into going to make sure the human woman wasn't cold. Only to end up being shot at for his troubles.. Proves the point. Nothing a man dose is good enough. "Your dammbed if you do. And dammbed if you don't"
Everything has its weakness Street has big feet so punji sticks Nails & Boards it's his weakest just put a large 54-yard perimeter of spiking Nails and sticks. It cold just go Rambo on these guys you keep them away from her
That was my theory until she saw a creature standing on the trail. I thought it was her angry, bitter ex messing with her. He'd know the location of the cabin. It COULD have been him in a costume, too, although that's more elaborate if he just wanted to terrorize her. It does explain why he took off after she shot at him. A Sasquatch would not know to be afraid of a gun, & IDK if the sound of a shot alone would scare one enough to run & never be seen again. If she was terrified, she'd be less able to observe details that give away that would give away it's a costume which she may have noticed if looking at a photo or film in the comfort of her home.
She must have been on her cycle which animals can smell, that's why women shouldn't swim in the ocean when that's happening, and Bigfoot wanted her, he was I guess making sure she knew it too. It's a good thing she got out because it sounded like he wasn't going to wait to long.

Great story! Glad that you're feeling better 😊💚
Sounds like, it thought it was helping make your nest more comfortable. Might be a mating thing the males do. The scratching sounds, were probably the tree branches.
He.was fixing up a new home for his new wife.
That was a good one! Bahahaha Bahahaha love it!
🤗 HUGS 🤗
Sorry this comment was so long I didn't know how to explain it shorter lol....
the pine branch could have been used to erase footprints as well.
The rubbing on the walls was to probably put his scent on it.
This RUclips channel is really underated
LOL.
Hope you are feeling a lot better. Good story. I guess you won't find me out in a cabin in the woods by my lonesome. Brrr!
L.L. Baumer I will still go! Log cabin in the woods is my dream! 🤞 One day - God willing! One day! 🥰❤️🦋🙏
Hi Ms.
Recovered from the plague okay then and she's ready to dive back into work what a trooper
Another great storie!!! Gosh dang crazy one to hear. For sure.
sounds like the Bigfoot try to make the cabin into a tepee
It was wanting a mate. It could tell she was female. Alone.
I live in Lawrence County Ohio! very good job!
You have a lot more to fear from men than you do from animals.
Great stories. I will be praying for the lady that needs surgery. God bless all of you
The Bigfoot was axing “improvements” on her house, just as they would their own home.
Welcome back! You were missed!
Glad you're feeling better.
So glad you're feeling better !
She's back and better than ever.....we hope! :)
Glad you're feeling better!
Maybe he was trying to protect her. Or he was keeping her in for dinner later. Lol
Forgot this was 2 years ago!! 😝
It's okay - I do try to circle back through and read comments on older videos. Lots of people add new comments to older videos!
I ran all the woods in Central and southern Ohio growing up,alnight fishing, hunting, etc and never had a sighting but I do remember hearing what sounded like someone hammering or chopping wood on accasion.
Phil Widdifield All night. Occasion. 👍😉
@@caralama08 What's your point? Why the cryptic quoting of the comment & the thumbs up & wink emojis?
Thanks so much that was great!!
Great story its in my neck of the woods.
Sounds like it was helping her make her "nest" a little more stable and sturdy! That's how they build their nests so seems it was just trying to help!
*And how would you know? Hmm?*
@@smileyface8832 Interesting that when someone suggested ra.pe in the comment just above, your response is, "
Oh my God. Hmm?"
Your Back?!? Yes!! Love your videos
Rick aka purple Hobbit “You’re”. 👍😉
Never heard of that but have heard of leaving little gifts.
Labor day already ? How quickly time goes by scars me more than the stories. 👣
Glad she is ok that sounds like a bad dream.
I think I'll keep my place in the city.
That's normal primate posturing "get off my territory", culminating in a threat "I can get THIS close to you without you noticing".
Thanks looking forward to next weekend
If she would have, asked around that small town... she might have heard, about them seeing or hearing one...I bet...
Thank you
Loved it! Yes, you have put Sass! Into Sasquatch!!! God Bless! 💖🤗🤩🙋♀️
Most of these stories show curiosity, sometimes playfulness. It makes me sad how folks’ default to these behaviors seems to be terror and shooting.
Jaen Martens me too. It’s always how afraid and just wanted it to be gone. What if she wasn’t afraid?
I thought bigfoot was making his bed against the cabin and using the cabin as part of his makeshift bed. I've heard they make beds in trees and nest like things on the ground. Scary story thank you!
No animal of that size is going to make a bed in a tree. It would break the branches.
Ty
glad you are well.
Brave lady.
Sounds like they were all trying to protect you and shield you
excellent encounter. I believe it may have been a juvenile
Patricia - I think most people commented the same - they think it was a juvenile too. Seems to fit the description.
Thanks for your videos....
@@smileyface8832 KIND of creepy?? Yes, interspecies rape is totally creepy,- no "kind of" about it.
Thanx...
I painted a picture of a grizzly with this cabin as a backdrop…
The branches were used to erase the footprints. No doubt. That, or it was studying to be a landscape architect. What's with ALL the pine branches though? Some sort of crazy sasquatch fetish maybe. Who knows with these creatures. They are just flat-out strange.
krabby 1964 Humans are a darn sight stranger and more dangerous tbh! 😱❤️🦋🙏
Well when people go camping and want to do it the “wild way” they use pine branches as a roof or wall of their shelter. Sometimes people use them to hide things. Big Foot was probably doing one of these things.
Welcome back to wellness!
Good story of bigfoot.🦍👣👁👁
He was building her a nest he must have been very attracted to a nice twenty-three-year-old year old young woman
Or maybe you are just projecting your own feelings onto Bigfoot? Yeah, that's it.
@@DonnaBrooks
You've replied under every single comment.
It may have been staying in the cabin at night
Cabin or tent which one will protect you from a GIANT SASQUATCH? Nothing would if the wanted to KILL you! Lights will help, but this person didn't have electricity! I would put ear plugs in and drink plenty of BEER. Then sleep! That's what I do camping. Put earplugs in my ears, and sleep. If something wanted to get me I didn't care at that time, because I couldn't hear anything!
Thankyou!! Great story...is that the real cabin?
*It was probably not.*

Dear Sas,
So good to hear that you are better. Your voice is back to perfect.
As for the story and the narration, they were both beautifully done again. Your talent and experience at narration are beyond critical review.
As for your stories, you either have very talented contributors or your writing and editing skills are equally to your oral skills, either way you have a loyal and grateful audience.
I can’t wait until Labour Day palooza. I spelled Labor the Old English way, because our wedding anniversary is the 5th of September. It isn’t on Labor Day this year, but it often is and I tease about the appropriateness of that. This year is our 50th Anniversary. An accomplishment that seems to be very rare any longer. Anyway, as I try to figure out where the time went, I will look forward to your presentations soon.
Thank you for your work.

Lovely words 💚
Good story
This isn't too far from where I live.
If you were afraid enough to fire at it , following it does not make sense to me.
She didn't follow it. I've heard other stories about people claiming to have followed a Sasquatch, though, which didn't make sense, since they were so terrified when they saw him or her.
He was looking for a gal pal ???????
I love the stories but some of them seem far fetched 😬😬
Nance ...is that picture of cabin. the real one? I saw the video twice..hair. rising..thanks!

*You should learn how to type properly. lol. Just kidding, just trying to make a joke.*
LOL. That's actually a funny scenario,- like something from a Gary Larsen collection.
Everything has its weakness Street has big feet so punji sticks Nails & Boards it's his weakest just put a large 54-yard perimeter of spiking Nails and sticks. It cold just go Rambo on these guys you keep them away from her
The bigfoot was her ex in a costume
LOL
Lol, Good one!
