Zak really has turned this team around. Sad that so many doubted him
A lot of fans who owe him an apology
Andreas Seidl was the one who advocated for the wind tunnel along with a change of engine manufacturer to Mercedes. Zak put his trust in the ones who turned this team around and it was well spent. Shame about his departure but Stella has been stellar!
More like Andrea Stella
@@snex1337 man I sure wonder who hired him and all the staff he asked for
@@EredarLordJaraxxus thats what ive loved about zak, hes become the face of mclaren, doing all the pr, having the cameras on him and away from his team, while allowing decisions that really move the team forward, because he has full trust in the team he has built to make the decisions best for the team
It's been a long time in the making but what a milestone! 🧡
Lets gooo! Hoping this brings some great performance in the coming years! 👏
Especially in 2026 if they convince Toyota to become their partner/engine supplier.
It's such a shame that all the engineering is such a closely guarded secret. Would love to see how everything is tested on the wind model and how they work with the data afterward.
Yes, you and all the other 9 teams... lol
Lets gooo... Back to the top! Great news for McLaren. Cars are getting better and with this new windtunnel... it can make the the difference
2024 is looking good 🤞
Maybe we can even fight the Bulls next year
Fantastic work guys and girls - let's keep pushing 🧡💙
Hope you have continuing success 🏎️
This is a technological marvel for sure, however where is the Unboxed from the last GP?
Finally guys let’s keep the great work on 🧡 come on!!
Next season and the seasons to come should be championship challenging seasons. With a state of the art wind tunnel comes expectancy.
If I'm not mistaken, due to FIA rules, they can use it for the 2025 car and not for the 2024 one... don't ask me why
Very cool, would love some more technical videos. Maybe on some older cars if you don't want to leak modern day cars.
Commenting on every Mclaren video until they send me the Coke x Mclaren water bottle because I can’t find a place to buy it online. Day 9
God speed my friend
Do it for us
Keep up the good work 😅
Do it lad!
There probably thinking that if they give you a bottle you will stop commenting 😂 so they won't hand any out I wonder how much it would cost them to give there subscribers all one that would be nice🤞👍
This wind tunnel will help us a lot. 🧡🧡🧡GO McLaren 🧡🧡🧡
Let’s get that performance up and winning titles
Wow my McLaren.❤
Good to see the team appearing more and more on the podium, hopefully it has a good off season and tests so that it can compete for race wins and championships ❤❤🎉🎉
Love this. But what's crazy is Red Bull has the most technically advanced car and developed it in a wind tunnel so old it has wooden blades. But it shows that you can have an incredible set of tech but if you have the wrong ideas, doesn't mean much.
But really rooting for McLaren and this new technology.
How you move the air is irrelevant its how you ensure flow quality in the test section. The biggest challenge that wind tunnel has compared to more modern ones is how it controls its temperature in the different seasons
Cool insight. More than we get from other teams. I dunno whether it is secret or not, but you could've also talked about how long it took to build, how many people worked on it and will work regularly on it or something. Connecting the team to the windtunnel. Perhaps also talk about the other projects that will be done with it. I would assume the road cars are also designed in part with data from the wind tunnel?
Awesome !
FORZA MCLAREN
you mentioned 20 degrees per second through the heat exchanger, is that drop per unit of time or was it meant to be 20 metres per second?
Coool Amazing
i just feel like itd be nice to sit in there in the summer
Lets goooooooo guys. On to a constructors championship after this. We deserve it!!!
let's go McLaren!
Fingers crossed the data correlates with the old Toyota wind tunnel and can immediately be used for the 2024 car so that we don’t have the same situation as pre season testing 2023 where we were so far off the pace from the jump 🤞🏻🧡🧡🧡
Love you guys, hope work with you some day 🧡
Let’s just hope they don’t end up with a bunch of correlation issues that other teams have had recently that sets back the progress of the team
Need the Suzuka Unboxed plsss
Freaking finally!!
00:15 LINUS??!!
Have fun with the new toy! 😉
Can we get a video on the new simulator too?
On hot days like today, I need that radiator to cool my gaming rig's CPU!
McLaren, вперёд!
Lando will get his maiden F1 victory in Qatar
Nah Oscar will.
@@SuperEdge67 I'm happy with that too!
And Oscar did, in the sprint at least
That water looks filthy
Second biggest achievement, the first being signing Oscar Piastri.
Hi toto keep watching
Maybe first
2:33 , looks old... :)
I wish he was in the wind tunnel when they turned it on, and we could see how the human body manages the air at 180 kph(50m/s)😁😁😁
Looks alright, but I'm not interested until it looks the one on Tooned.
20 degree per sec? what ?
so in total you showed fan blade and cooler
meh...
can i put my car in there please?
1003 hpa 4°C/25°C 45/75% 340 m/s en dessous de 1003 hpa Vmax n' less reduce energy drive n' beyond 1003/1023/1068 hpa elevate aerodynamics stability car 1.618 3.14 340 m\s
Yikes. I can imagine the amount of risk assessments and other paper work involved to have people stand infront of a turbine and film.
they never really showed the wind tunnel ..
Jeezus you guys need to clean out your pond!
Firstt
First
Hey camera man, show the place, not the face of the guy!
Cool, now clean that pond for the love of god
hardly a video
Why more than 50% in this video we watch some guy talking? Common, show the tonnel, make it like discovery channel like.😊
You could actually listen to what the guy is saying because it is interesting though. Also it's spelt tunnel
Such a joke. This has no place in car racing.
What are you talking about
@@michaelking397 Wind tunnels. Its motor racing. Not aircraft racing
2024 race wins and 2025 WDC come on team
Pls revive/Bring Back Tooned 🥲
