  • In this video, I'll guide you through creating a dynamic job application form using Bricks.
We'll start by setting up a basic form where applicants can easily upload their resumes or CVs. You'll learn how to incorporate dynamic data such as the job title and page URL directly into your form fields, ensuring that all relevant information is seamlessly passed on to your HR department.
Here's a quick overview of what you'll learn:
    - Adding a file upload field to your form.
    - Setting file size and type restrictions.
    - Styling your form to match your brand.
    - Using hidden fields to pass dynamic data.
    - Configuring the form to send emails with dynamic content.
    - Setting up success messages and email confirmations.
By the end of this tutorial, you'll have a fully functional and stylish job application form that dynamically integrates with your website's content.
This form is perfect for any HR department to keep track of applications efficiently.

Great video! I would love to see a tutorial on URL parameters being passed through into forms dynamically - just a suggestion for a related tutorial :)

I would NOT recommend anyone to use the form submitted email address as the FROM address of the email, the receiving mail account/server is going to expect the correct spf/DMARC/DKIM for the FROM email and obviously this will not be correct, it is much better to just use the same domain as the website in the FROM and just apply the form submitted email address to the "reply to" address (this is precisely why it is there). Depending on how the form is setup it could also possibly be used for spamming or just for causing the servers to be blacklisted as if the receiving server bounces back the email it will be sent to whatever the FROM address is so knowing this a spammer could spam or cause the server to get blacklisted.

The setup shows the from email from the person who is submitting the form

@@Elsteck Exactly. You should never use that in the FROM address field, only in the "Reply To" Address field. That is my point.

I was about to point this out. That’s absolutely bad practice

I was also screaming inside seeing him do that. I hope nobody takes that advice. 🫨
Only use reply-to, never fake a from. Or you’re getting the whole server IP blacklisted

Amazing videos as always. Would you able to create a video about application form, where can manage applications by status like approved, declined. Other important when a party fill in the application form both party should receive a copy of pdf. Back end should also able to download pdf copy if they needed.

How to make acf frontend post form in bricks builder

    • @WPTuts
      @WPTuts  Месяц назад +1

Natively, Bricks doesn’t offer that option. You’ll need another method with either a good form plugin or a dedicated plugin for frontend content insertion.
Search the channel as I’ve released multiple videos on the topic.

After trying pretty much every option under the sun for this, I've found the solution offered by WS Form Pro and their Post Management add-on (or their User Management add-on for frontend user registration) to be the absolute best.
