  • Self compassion is a healthy way we can approach the relationship we have with self. Often times in my work as a wellness coach, I find that people are incredibly hard on themselves. We stress ourselves out because we work, work, work constantly wanting to prove something to ourselves. And when we fall short of our goals and expectations we become self-critical. This is a human experience. We all feel that in some way or another.
    This video outlines the three elements of self-compassion as defined by Dr. Kristen Neff, who's focus of research is mindful self-compassion.

    Great topic, and something many neglect indefinitely or become consciously aware of and learn to practice much later in life (myself included).

      Being aware is honestly the hardest step! That is great that you are aware of how maybe self compassion can play a larger role in all areas of your life. I hope that you are able to live more consciously - and compassionately - now!

    Wow this is a subject I feel like no one talks about not other content creators and not even any of my past therapists. It is something I struggle with a lot and this video was very helpful. Tbh I was very confused when I found your channel it seems to be fake because the quality is really good and yet only 60 views and 1 like? I just want to say I appreciate your channel and what you make.
