It would not be wrong to call R.N. Kao i.e. Rameshwar Nath Kao, who is called the father of spies in present-day India. A spy from India who created the Research and Analysis Wing, which was counted among the top 5 spies in the world at that time.
It is said that from 1967 to 1975, former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi depended heavily on two Kashmiri Pandits who were not born in Kashmir for her decisions. One of them was his secretary P.N. Dhar and the other was Rameshwar Nath Kao.
Rameshwar Nath Kao was born on 10 May 1918 in Varanasi district of Uttar Pradesh. At the age of just 22, he passed the Indian Police Service examination. When the Intelligence Bureau was created in 1948, Kao became its assistant director. Here he got the responsibility of protecting the country's Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru.

कहा जाता है कि 1967 से 1975 तक पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री इंदिरा गांधी अपने फैसलों के लिए दो ऐसे कश्मीरी पंडितों पर बहुत अधिक निर्भर रहीं जो कश्मीर में पैदा नहीं हुए थे. उनमें से एक थे उनके सचिव पी.एन. धार और दूसरे थे रामेश्वर नाथ काव।
रामेश्वर नाथ काव का जन्म 10 मई 1918 को उत्तर प्रदेश के वाराणसी जिले में हुआ था। महज 22 साल की उम्र में उन्होंने भारतीय पुलिस सेवा की परीक्षा पास कर ली। 1948 में जब इंटेलिजेंस ब्यूरो बनाया गया, तो काओ इसके सहायक निदेशक बने। यहां उन्हें देश के प्रधानमंत्री जवाहरलाल नेहरू की सुरक्षा की जिम्मेदारी मिली।

raameshvar naath kaav ka janm 10 maee 1918 ko uttar pradesh ke vaaraanasee jile mein hua tha. mahaj 22 saal kee umr mein unhonne bhaarateey pulis seva kee pareeksha paas kar lee. 1948 mein jab intelijens byooro banaaya gaya, to kao isake sahaayak nideshak bane. yahaan unhen desh ke pradhaanamantree javaaharalaal neharoo kee suraksha kee jimmedaaree milee.
