Great project! I like the way you leave good details in your actions. I do have one question:
Do these branch/tree rounds not crack and split as they dry out? I would imagine they split right where you've screwed or drilled. My suggestion would be to sand the pieces' surface smooth to 100 or 200 grit. then seal them with a wax based sealant. Would keep them moist and delay any cracking / splitting.
2'nd thought I had on this... It's base is very small and can probably tip over easily with that overhang. I'd also recommend screwing/gluing it to a larger base piece of wood to make it bottom heavy. Don't want burning things falling over easily.

The added base piece of wood I recommended would also be a good way to use that snazzy ball sanding drill bit you have to make a pool to catch the smoke at the end of it's journey through the falls.

A trick I found while experimenting with making bows & arrows from natural wood - dry the rounds in a kiln, or if you lack the kiln set them as close to your home's heat source as safety allows. Once they are all the way dry they will crack and split MUCH less.
Lost a box of rounds for a project that failed, found the rounds a year later, and the project worked since the rounds didn't split at the "rivets" (brass finishing brads with a head that looks like a rivet so the pins holding the wooden round in the bottom of my powder horn look like the brass rivets in the leather strap)

Unfortunately, I didn't have a bigger stick to use as a base to maintain balance. These sticks were dry and had no cracks. Thank you dear friend for watching the video and leaving a comment🥀🙏
