you seem to be uploading many lippert picture movies. thanks for a couple i needed! i have now seen 143 out of the 152 lippert studio pictures made from 1945 to 1955. the 9 i have not seen are the prairie 1947, 2 russel hayden westerns Where the North Begins & Trail of the Mounties both 1947, harpoon 1948, Shep Comes Home 1948, Hollywood Varieties 1950, another don red barry western Border Rangers 1950, sky high 1951, and Valley of Eagles 1952 in case you can find any of these.
Mrs Richards: "I paid for a room with a view !" Basil: (pointing to the lovely view) "That is Torquay, Madam ." Mrs Richards: "It's not good enough!" Basil: "May I ask what you were expecting to see out of a Torquay hotel bedroom window ? Sydney Opera House, perhaps? the Hanging Gardens of Babylon? Herds of wildebeest sweeping majestically past?..." Mrs Richards: "Don't be silly! I expect to be able to see the sea!" Basil: "You can see the sea, it's over there between the land and the sky." Mrs Richards: "I'm not satisfied. But I shall stay. But I expect a reduction." Basil: "Why?! Because Krakatoa's not erupting at the moment ?"
Joe Sawyer played plenty of "dumb" cops and criminals during the 30s & 40s. Nice also to see both The Skipper and Inspector Henderson in the same movie. The actor "pay" for this film must have been the coffee they were served to stay awake during this cheap exercise in mindlessness.
I ffirst thought the 'walkie talkie' was a hand leld radio, I later found it to be a BACKPACK radio (quite large). I don't mind ADs at the start, but every FIVE minutes or so is Annoying.
Thanks for the movie. Really is not too good. Telegraphed routines. Obvious gags and the Sarge who never learns his lesson. Just started and hope it gets better.
Nothing like a good ole comedy movie 🍿 in black and white
Wonderful little movie. I really enjoy these kind of flix, takes the stress and anxiety away for a while. Thank you for posting movies like this.
A cute simple film that kept me smiling , no deep twisted plots , just a lite predictable comedy easy to enjoy. 😊
What a good goof. Alan Hale Jr. no less.
I laughed all the way through the movie 😀

I Enjoyed it a LOT.
Cant recall seeing it before now
10/10 very funny. Worth watching👍👍👍Thank you for posting for us.
Anybody noticed at 3:49 the person standing in front of the 105mm and at 3:50 the howitzer fires and he disappears?
FYI in the US Army the Walkie Talkie was carried as a backpack.
The one carried in the hands was a Handy Talkie.
Thanks for posting this movie, it was the William Tracy, Joe Sawyer army movie that I have not previously seen.
Thanks for sharing it! I always enjoy watching Great Old Movies though. 👍👌👏
An of course, I'm a subscriber!

hahaha great show :D
Its like Hogans Heros.
Don't know why, but I always noticed Joe Sawyer, even when he very small parts. Regards from England. November, 2023.
Now we see just why the Skipper left the Army and joined the Navy.
Safest Duck in the Army 😎
Mobile field radio Sargent talkie and you walkie !
I think the guy playing the captain did voiceovers for educational presentations.
Funny how the duck has sergeant major stripes on it's wings
What is the song called sung in this picture?
Give me these silly movies anytime, over the garbage produced these days.

WilliamTracy reminds me a lot of Tim Conway in looks, mannerisms, and comedic timing.
Is Walkie Talkie Tim Conway!?
SOOOO funny!!
This movie has been missing for some time.

skipper from gilligans island
3:50 Stock footage? Guy disappears when howitzer goes off, criminy.
Man, was this thing made on the cheap!

14:45 Korea ???!!!??? Oh no !!!!!! He just might get stuck in the same outfit as Max Klinger and Frank Burns !!!!
Why are they wearing helmet liners without the steel pot. Ames does not have the proper web gear for the M1 Carbine.
The ration reviewer in me always looks to see if at any point rations will be consumed or at least show up on the screen.

Abyssmal late "comedy" from Hal Roach who was nothing without Laurel & Hardy,
