Hello Madhu - Conversion techniques are used to migrate the data in the implementation project( Customer is implementing SAP for the first time) while interfacing techniques are generally used to transfer the data on daily basis between the systems.
if we transfer data from SAP ECC to SAP S4/Hana, then it will be SAP to SAP transfer only right? but you mentioned in video that we cannot migrate data from SAP to SAP system. Could you please explain here if I am missing something?
Hello Priya - With the help of BDC and LSMW, we can migrate data only from Non-SAP system to SAP system. These tools can not be used to migrate the data from SAP to SAP system or SAP to Non-SAP system. Similarly, there are dedicated tools which are used to migrate the data from ECC to S/4 HANA system.
