When the Physical growth of a teenager is at its most important part it's the age when they play least in their age.
Due to this stupid reason of overrated exams a child's development which is between 15-18 they are sitting and studying endlessly for an exam which never comes in use in his whole life. A student cannot take risk of leaving the studies due to social pressure and hence stops pursuing his/her sports dream.....

Exactly! The 117 athletes coming from all walks of life qualifying in these sports which are played as leisure and a part of school curriculum in developed countries is itself a huge deal.
"India is not doing enough as compared to it's population" is such a shallow statement. We have the coveted Khelo India Games and also our athletes have won multiple medals in various world cups in the past few years. The more wealthier our country gets, more the number of people who will have access to these sports. Almost all schools will have such sports if we as a country become wealthier.
The only sad metric is our performance in Winter Olympics. We should have more representation and there should be a stadium in North India for winter athletes.
