Also, I just love how the the sword in Crystal only cut Beryl's necklace, isntead of her torso 🙄. Those foolish writers ruined that scene more than enough already!

The Outers aside, Venus definitely appears more powerful and closer to her manga levels in Crystal than the 90s anime. They still do did her dirty, particularly in Season 1, and they're all basically fodder until Sailor Moon shows up, but that's no different from the 90s anime either.
It sucks that they showed more of her attacks missing than the ones that actually hits -_- She's supposed to be the strongest of the 4 other Senshi's and yet, they made her lame in this version
I don't think she is the strongest in raw power. But her attacks are physical, unlike the others. Depending on the enemy, all of the scouts could be considered the strongest. Fire, ice, electricity, and physical all have their strengths and weaknesses.
Venus was suppose to be the one who kills Beryl, not Sailor Moon. Her sword popped Beryls ass.

Sailor Venus/Aino Minako's Venus Lovely Chain reminds me of Andromeda Shun's Nebula Chain from Saint Seiya.
Venus was my favourite in the 90s but crystal didn’t do her justice.
