Growing up in Denmark and spending the summers at my grand parents’ summer cottage in Lyngby, your video is super interesting for me as a budding paragliding pilot with 110 flights. I’m already an older dude - retired airline pilot finding his new passion. Question - any recommendation for a beginner soaring wing? More than one size is obviously ideal - I see your Mirage. Did you just bring one wing? I have a Swing Verso XS 20m2 which puts me close to the ENB mini wing behavior on their weight scale. I find it roll unstable - probably due to my inexperience and lack of active piloting skill. Hence I’m still learning to nip the roll oscillations in the bud. Perhaps this is the same for all mini wing characteristics. Anyways - maybe I can start my soaring endeavors with this existing wing.. hmm. I have no intention to end up as cliff carnage haha. I’m spending three months flying my full size wing with Aufwind school in Austria this summer but after watching your video, I really want to go to Denmark for a week now! maybe I can just bring the Verso. Any comments are welcome thanks..
Hey Lars, nice to hear from you mate. Your two wings you have at the moment will work just fine for soaring. The bigger wing for lighter days and the 20 for stronger days. Speed bar and trimmers will help you out if you get stuck. It's good practice to take it easy and start in lighter winds to figure out your range and wind limit. Denmark is soaring heaven! I think you will have a great time. If you have any more questions now or in the future I'm happy to help if I can.
@@CoreySymes yeh it's hard to find good royalty free stuff. I'm lucky that no one watches my videos so I can't monetise them which means I can use anything. I'm based in cairns but just spent a week down in the sunny coast doing my PPG to PG2 crossover with josh and the guys at SEQ. Im headed to europe in a couple of weeks but will definitely be back down your neck of the woods to fly at rainbow beach

Snow loops! Had no idea what they where on my moustache until I watched this 🙄
They’d come in handy for riding for sure. I’ve used them quite a bit on the sand when I’m launching in tricky spots.

I understand its a matter of experience but how do you gauge the boundaries of the lift belt?

How fast roughly are you flying at 18:27?
Maybe 50km/hr. In between 40 and 70km/hr through out this session around 18:27
