Also in the video, we briefly highlight the Bavarian village of Leavenworth, the local fish hatchery where we viewed wild salmon swimming in the river, and a few nearby scenic sites within the Wenatchee National Forest. Great video! Only other thing I’d call out is there are lots of low hanging branches that can’t be avoided with a fifth wheel. Travel trailers are low enough they’re not an issue. It really is a gorgeous park in a wonderful location so dealing with the tightness is worth it. I’m jealous you got a full hookup spot! The ranger scratched half of them off the map saying we couldn’t take them (I didn’t ask why but they were taken anyway).

Looks like a very beautiful park and surrounding area. Was it difficult getting to the park?

Easy park to access, but maneuvering within the park and into your campsite can be challenging for those with a larger rig. Lou

    How’s cell service and WiFi?

I’m here right now. If you ask at the front desk they’ll point you to the areas of the park with better service. There’s a tower on a mountain 4 miles away, but the south end of the park has a hill next to it that blocks signal. If you stay closer to the lodge you’ll get better signal. I’m in site 236 on the lake side of the park and my Visible (Verizon) SIM is getting 76 down and 2 up on my iPhone with 2 bars. I have a Husky Parsec Antenna on my trailer and that gets full bars Verizon. AT&T is around 50 down and 4 up if I recall. T-mobile is 3 bars but the data was unusable yesterday when everyone was here for Labor Day. I haven’t tried again today. Sorry probably more info than you wanted to know 😂
