Ikr..I keep seeing Saiouma everywhere and I really don’t have the best opinion on it. So many Saimatsu shippers are getting attacked for not shipping Saiouma so that’s probably one of the main reasons for me disliking it. It seems a bit toxic too since Kokichi and Shuichi are most likely frenemies, and Kokichi has had made Shuichi uncomfortable at times (the love suite/hotel for example.) At least Kokichi respected Shuichi’s consent but I just don’t like it.

The only reason I like it is because Shuichi seems like the only person that Kokichi takes a liking to. And actually wants to get to know and be around. As someone who honestly isn't the biggest fan of Saiouma either (I just get quite some t0xic vibes from them in a relationship), I believe my own reasoning would be because Shuichi seems to be genuinely uncomfortable around Kokichi, yet still sort of forces himself to stay respectful and care about him For me it kinda felt like Shuichi was constantly piling up all his emotions, just so he wouldn't upset Kokichi even though he himself felt a huge amount of discomfort Well, that would atleast be until he finally snapped (Referring to the "You're alone Kokichi. And always will be" line) Other reasonings would be the more common ones, like that it would be extremely one sided & Kokichi's so called act of having enjoyment in mentally humiliating Shuichi (The commentary about Kaede's death, basically preventing Shuichi from being able to move on) I also have one last reason, though this is just my own view on their relationship which might seem more personal *(TOTALLY not talking about real life experience 💀).* So we know basically nobody in the cast except for Shuichi seemed to accept Kokichi, correct? This honestly is making me believe that Kokichi rather got a obsession over Saihara instead of seeing him as a love interest (These just include Kokichi's rather clingy personality & constantly reaching out to him in the class trials, despite that he is definitely able to tell that Shuichi's rather uneasy around him)

Time for the opinions of a multi/rarepair shipper ! Tenmiko - it’s not my fav tbh, while most of my favs have no interactions, at least they wouldn’t be well, like tenko and himiko’s. I just don’t think himiko is all that into tenko. I mean sure she warms up to her and if tenko lived longer they would’ve had potential but for rn, 4/10 Oumami - this is actually one of my favorite kokichi ships, and I don’t really ship him with a lot of people, overall it’s really cute. They’re both on the mysterious side and no one really knows if they can trust either of them soo.. As someone who honestly isn't the biggest fan of Saiouma either (I just get quite some t0xic vibes from them in a relationship), I believe my own reasoning would be because Shuichi seems to be genuinely uncomfortable around Kokichi, yet still sort of forces himself to stay respectful and care about him
For me it kinda felt like Shuichi was constantly piling up all his emotions, just so he wouldn't upset Kokichi even though he himself felt a huge amount of discomfort
Well, that would atleast be until he finally snapped (Referring to the "You're alone Kokichi. And always will be" line)
Other reasonings would be the more common ones, like that it would be extremely one sided & Kokichi's so called act of having enjoyment in mentally humiliating Shuichi (The commentary about Kaede's death, basically preventing Shuichi from being able to move on)
I also have one last reason, though this is just my own view on their relationship which might seem more personal *(TOTALLY not talking about real life experience 💀).* So we know basically nobody in the cast except for Shuichi seemed to accept Kokichi, correct? This honestly is making me believe that Kokichi rather got a obsession over Saihara instead of seeing him as a love interest (These just include Kokichi's rather clingy personality & constantly reaching out to him in the class trials, despite that he is definitely able to tell that Shuichi's rather uneasy around him)
shuichi doesn’t like kokichi, he was uncomfortable with him pretty much the entire game, it’s so weird that this is the most popular ship in the franchise, it rly just seems to me like it’s weird yaoi girls who obsess over it
All what ship saiouma say what are not gacha heat but the part of gacha heat is toxic i put gachaa here because all use gacha for these vids and they dont know what for one reason kokichi is the antagonist and suichi the protagonist

Ok so, I do ship them and I’ll explain :> So Kokichi and Rantaro have a bond together kind of like Hiyoko and Mahiru’s or something- Though you never get to see them interact since uhhh well, you’re Kaede and I think she usually spends her time with Shuichi. (Srry it’s been a bit since I’ve played the game) When Rantaro died, Kokichi said something close to this: “This has to be a lie, my beloved Rantaro is dead..”

If you replay after rantaro’s death Kokichi did said “my beloved rantaro is dead..”
And in chapter 6 when shuichi and maki were investigating kokichi’s dorm, there was a wax egify of rantaro there. Oh and Kokichi calls rantaro his dearest so yeah.

Tenmiko - it’s not my fav tbh, while most of my favs have no interactions, at least they wouldn’t be well, like tenko and himiko’s. I just don’t think himiko is all that into tenko. I mean sure she warms up to her and if tenko lived longer they would’ve had potential but for rn, 4/10
Oumami - this is actually one of my favorite kokichi ships, and I don’t really ship him with a lot of people, overall it’s really cute. They’re both on the mysterious side and no one really knows if they can trust either of them soo.. They could learn to trust each other ! 8/10
Kaemaki - YES I LOVE THIS ONE second fav ship for each of them :) it’s so cute and I love that one piece of official art their in together, 9/10
Saiouma - No. Just… no. This and kuzupeko are my least favorite ships in the entire franchise (not counting any of the toxic ones) -10000000/10
